If you hear an Indian voice it’s a scam and that call at the start of the video was fake. This scam is not new it’s a couple of years old.

Yep! They call me every day and eventhough I block their phone numbers, they keep calling with a similar version of the previous phone numbers.

They are so solid in their scam, unwavering. Had a similar experience with a ‘Norton’ subscription charge of $299.99 for protection I never had, ever. Only to be told if I wanted a refund of charges made to my account (which wasn’t true) I needed to provide the card information…which I was never charged. I went along with it for about 10 mins and then asked him if he was a scammer and he hung up 😂

Tell them you will call back and then find out. That will automatically reveal if it is real or fake. Especially if the number is out of service.

Oh of course and if you hear "get a gift card" now you get silly with it or ask further questions, check emails to you're account. if you find nothing wrong? go to a actual location if you're unsure.
But when gift cards are involved it's a hoax and you have the right to troll them. and they use AI voices cause that's the new major booming thing these days to worse AI voice cloning which might be a loved one or celeb asking for money so always second guess things!
