    A couple things.
    On the Nova it seems they are always centered over to the side like you said. Sometimes it's over to the left side. A drag radial the same size as a street radial for some reason do fit differently.
    "usually" 275 60 15 will fit Sometimes you have to use a 8th of a an inch or a quarter of an inch spacer, sometimes just on one side
    Also you can use a second generation Camaro shock plate to move the shocks out.
    What a person can do to perfectly center the rear end under the car is of course using measurements get it to where exactly needs to be knock off the Spring purchases and put new ones on
    One more thing for safety your new seats, Where the holes are for the belts are a lot higher than the bar going from left to right. You need to get holes at are lower or you need to just put in another bar that is higher because they don't want the belt Going from the seat to the bar any more than like 5 degrees or something.
    Thanks again for representing the Nova page with my shirt and the sticker

    Tub it and save yourself that headache. Shock bar with some coil overs and 4 link the rear? :-) Get some of that nickel-copper brake lines [they don't corrode and work for brakes and even fuel line]. Check out Leon's Garage / rustahaulics to see his big tire nova... not sure if he did the old Fitzee's Fabrication axle job where you cut off the axle tubes then weld them back on with the Ford 9 inch sorta deal... I think he also shortened his own axles as well but may have gotten a machine shop to do that part but... man talk about monster MEATS on the back of that car.. his truck and 55 LS swap as well. He's doing the twin turbo thang as well. :-) Worth checking out.

    So 4.5 is better? Those some nice valve covers

    • @GreaserthoughtsGarage
      @GreaserthoughtsGarage  2 года назад

      Honestly bro depends on your car. The best is 5.25 backspacing it fits perfect and you don’t have to do anything. What I would do is measure it! That way it fits your car perfectly. Check out this video! ruclips.net/video/abtWGm0ZerU/видео.html if not I would try and find both a 4.5 in back spacing and a 5.5 BS and see which one fits best. Since there all a little different. Another thing to take into consideration is fixing the the rear end being a little more in the passenger side. I’m hoping when I get a Ford 9 inch it fixes it. I’ll get new leaf springs while I’m at it basically replace the rear suspension.
