I lived in Southern California, Los Angeles for my first 22 years. I moved here in 1985 and lived in snow for the first time. My assessment it this is the best weather in the world. The snow only stays as a guest. It comes for a few days looks beautiful and charming then leaves quietly and peacefully enriching you with it's presence. In areas where there is snow all winter it becomes like a guest who has over stayed it's welcome, the magic has gone and you want it to go away. ~>Xx>-
I love this different look with the snow on this video ! The dark clouds in the background. I never knew California got snow, but I suppose in the higher elevations where you are, it is possible. Winter months are long in Alberta. We can get our first snowfall in October and our last into May. It will be here soon enough, but seeing this vid with the snow, is making me kinda look forward to it. Love shooting photo's in the Winter much more than the Summer.
I would say give up wanting, appreciate what is, enjoy the now. Figure out what you are supposed to do, then do it or work on doing it. I never wanted, I just did.

Thats awesome, we didnt get any snow this year. Its freakishly HOT !! but we did get a lot of rain today
