Henry started off "losing" when picking the top members in the beginning, but he couldn't have formed a better team ! His team seems to be so passionate, happy, and they have like a family feeling ! Jiayou, Henry !
I really want to thank Lay for saying ‘have fun for once’ to Yibo, because Yibo's nature is very competitive that sometimes he can be hard on his self and his teammates, nonetheless accept his loses and recognized his weakness. Thank you Lay💚💚💚
I think it's also great that yibo declared the voting fair and pointed out the issues with his team. This way, he also helped to manage any negative emotions his many fans (and he has many) who may not understand street dance, might have, and are feeling upset on his behalf.
I really admire Yibo as the captain he is. He is not merely a celebrity who can also dance, but a true in-blood dancer. This guy is absolutely unbiased, professional, with deep comprehension and so much ethics. He lost, but it doesn't matter as long as he is considering & recognizing all the lacks which he surely is going to sort them out all. Never ever understatement him. Further, he is one of the very few Captains on this whole 4 seasons who appreciate and recognize the work of everyone not just his own team. I'm so proud of him and rooting for his explosive stages. 🔥💚🌷

the battle was between routines, so i really understand why yibo lost, the voting was very fair..henry's team was much more prepared for the battle, even tho yibo's team has amazing dancers they need a little more time to adapt to each other, i'm sure they'll catch up pretty quickly since they're indeed exceptional dancers. very proud of henry tho, last episode was really hard watching him being denied so many times but in the end it all worked out!
This episode was great. I'm glad Henry's team won. Henry is smart and works well with the participants. It is not advisable to underestimate him. The people on his team will always have a good time. The team of choreographers was the best. The end made me cry.

I think Yibo must prioritise diversity and team building right now. Everytime he relaxes, trusts in himself and especially his team members and allows the ideas and especially variety room to flourish, something magical happens and he is hard to beat. He puts a chockhold on himself and his team, and it really hurts all of them. I'm so happy next episode is all about fun, communicating, and relaxing. It's really needed!

I suddenly remember Henry's struggle in the black room and now it's paid off. I think you win some you lose some but what matters is they gain from the experience. you see where the error and there you know which stuff to repair. salute to Lay for still keeping up his profesionalism as an artist despite his body condition at the time of competition.

I want to take this moment to appreciate and praise captain yibo for his professionalism. He knew where his team lack off and publicly spoke about it, he wasn’t upset but saw the positive side of the voting system which was basically ruled by professional dancers so they were fair, he wasn’t biased at all even said the other team obviously win against bouboo and nelson from his team. he even bravely said he choose ibuki and ac in the battle when the mc asked to pick a side because of his own rational reasonings. Not only that, yibo noticed the first sound of the Locker team music and immediately went nostalgic means he understood what he’s doing fairly well. Not many people knows this fact, not even dancers. He has an in-depth knowledge of dancing. Also he guessed who choreograph which part in the the Choreographer team correctly, means yibo understood and notice every dancers by their piece of work. Everyone must’ve their own characteristics in dancing, and yibo memorized them. Yibo is so smart, and so so young too. Really, he’s so cool.
@@garong4902 you’re right, in split second he was really confused of whats the standard of the dancers who voted. in fact, i was too because his team wasn’t that bad but the votes were very very low. so confusion is without a doubt. but he got his cool back indeed!

Henry's team really takes after him. Cheerful captain = Cheerful team. Yibo's team are all good at solos. They are battle-type dancers. Their weakness is routine so I'm not surprise when they lose. I really like the two vs two battle of Lay and Han Geng's team (Huang Xiao-Kenken and Ma Xiaotong-Zyko perfs), as well as Henry's team (Han Yu-Chika's perf). Mind blowing! As for the battle of remaining dancers, the team who wins deserve it! And I laugh so hard on B-boys team perf. Definitely Chick's choreography 😂😂😂.
Originally, It's the best decision to have OG battle dancers since there are going to be countless solo battles in the future. ( luckily Yibo's battle dancers are good at routines too and are creative as well). I guess he prioritized getting them first, before the teams' competition begin and since he had limition in choosing. He obviously lacked choreographers (to also balance the idea of each member) and routine dancers, but it's just the beginning. Hopefully he is so keen on learning, strategic, and comprehensive. Surely he is going to balance his overall team. Looking forward to next episode.
Right?! I felt that Lay and Han Geng's teams were really balanced and it was hard to chose between them just based on skill, it came down to personal preference at the end. Henry's team I'm really proud of since Henry is still finding his groove as a captain and I think with just the first 4 members he settled into the atmosphere of the show. His team mirrors each other personalities well. With Yibo's team we all know he loves hip hop and will always bulk his team with hip hop dancers. But even from last season, having too many of one type won't always work, so hopefully he'll choose a choreographer who can mesh well with the visions and standards he always holds for his team.
@@VIDAH_ IMO it feels like Yibo gave up his bishop in order to secure the King. Meaning he chose the strong solo battles contestants first since bc in the end it still boils down to 1v1. So he knew what he was giving up early on (possibly losing today's episode) to make it up and dominate in the later ones. My only quip is that since he won last season so he had experience, was a street dancer from the start and also a member in an idol group, he should have the most basic (a given) foresight that he should have chosen a choreographer first is very important. They had opposing opinions because a choreographer wasn't there to mesh all their ideas together. IMO, if this was all part of his long term plan then cool. He lost the battle but probably going to win the war in the end. It just a very basic misstep for him to not have chosen someone who choreograph right away, but he does have the strong solos
@@magicswallow Exactly my thought. Whether it was a coincidence or his long-term plan, Seeing on this site, it was a clever move. I guess he saw this coming. letting go of the beginning battle, before the team's formation just to get the best choices for the individual battles. And as you said, choosing a choreographer was the first step and the basic knowledge, I personally even got surprised that he didn't choose one in the previous ep. On the preview of the next ep, 7-8 members of his team are revealed and you can see all of them are champions and super strong, his team is already empowered (who are good at routines too) 2-3 good choreographers can balance them the best. I'm looking forward to it.
Winning and losing is a part of our journey that we must take, what matters is that we accept the truth and make it as a tool to further improve in the future, I'm still so proud for Yibo, he did his best, stating and recognizing his disadvantages then use it as a lesson along the way, Henry's team deserved that victory too, their performance really is amazing. I think for captain Yibo💚, the fairness of the game matters more than winning the game. He can accept failures calmly and accurately point out the shortcomings of his team. Failure does not make him depressed, but will become the motivation to win the next game through better collaboration and harder work. I think there’s a kind of strength in his body that always keep fighting and never give up. In addition, his comments on dancers’ works made me feel his professionalism and in-depth understanding of street dance and all the dancers. @Feed _mee_pii Yeah, I want Yibo's team to win again as well, but in the end it really is up to the individual dancer to win the final battle. Buoboo and Yang Kai were amazing to watch last season in freestyle battle. Because both lost in their routines before the finals, but was able to faught back hard and won the freestyle battles 7 to smoke in order to get their spot back for the finals. Doing a classical/folk routine dance was hard for them because they are use to freestyle battles. Got to give Buoboo and Yang Kai some praise for their determination and will to win!
I'm really shocked at mr. three and rochka, they do it so well!! also, rochka is so cute, always smilling and I love the way he talks about ibuki, so so cuteee

His best isn't enough. It's not about him winning, it's more on team work cooperation and innovation. Henry came in as a surprise and he brought a few fresh air to the show. He's versatile and relax. He got all the left over from the dark room but the leftovers turned the stage around and win eventually. so in this show, best isn't enough.
@@river5613In this round, Yibo made the mistake of not choosing a choreographer for his team and he paid for it. But what makes his strength and therefore the strength of his team is his ability to see his weaknesses, and to find the best solution to remedy them, so this defeat may help him to build a stronger team. As for Henry, his performance was impressive and he deserves to be congratulated. This is only the sixth episode of the competition and there are still several stages before the final. So I believe that Yibo has a lot of surprises in store for us and that he will guide his team in the best way possible.
Because of his injury, Lay looks in so much of pain but still he was professional enough to smile through the pain all throughout the shooting. If I hadn't known about his health issues,I wouldn't have even noticed how weak he looks 😭
I also though he looked really weird here, he really seemed exhausted not even daring to speak most of this chapter. D: Gladly he seems better in the next episode. :D

Even though Yibo's team lost in this episode, I really enjoyed watching all their performances. What matters most is that they enjoyed performing have given their best. Hopefully they can release some of my faves group/battle performances later this week so I can rewatch some of them over again.
Mr Three captured my attention in ep 1 as he looks so handsome in all white outfit. Then on next episode where dancers performed solo, I noticed how powerful he is in popping. But now, he totally have my admiration. He's such an excellent popping dancer. I got a feeling that he might be one of Henry team's representaive in the finale.

@@joickloverforever He does need choreographers for the routine battle but it also important to have battle dancers for freestyle battle especially near the end which will be a cypher freestyle battle. I guess choreographers need to learn and adjust to freestyle battles as well as freestyle dancers need to adjust to choreography in order for any of dancers to make it the finals.
@@larainedelcano9636 It just feels that all he lacks is a good choreographer. Same as last year his team is already battle heavy. Bouboo, Nelson, Liang Liang and Ye Yin are all very good at battle. Ye Yin is the only one so far whose team won in routine this season. Among the other 6 dancers I really hope there is at least one choreographer.
@@juzual4251 Ye Yin and Yang Kai both are previous champions, so they are actually are good in both battling and choreography with their past experience. Liang Liang actually can do choreography too besides battle. I think it really is a matter of who is the main choreographer for each dance routine. There can be multiple people who can choreograph certain parts of the music, but one main choreographer who can bring it all together concisely and smoothly. Musicality, Facial expression, highlight/unique part, and completeness of the dance routine are important elements.
* Also it is never good to underestimate the opponent because like they say, "Pride before the Fall." Humility is important in team work/corporation, which means listening to each others advice and ideas is important. Also being self aware and choosing battles wisely, knowing when the right time to fight for what you want, and the right time to step back to try something new and different. Best thing to do is find a common ground between different people. I think Chun Lin, Yang Kai and Ye Yin were great in bringing people together by teaching/introducing them something new. Yibo has very serious personality and slowly warms up to people, so it sometimes it takes time for him to adjust with his new team. Once his team formed I think it will be more okay. He can be very strict at times because he is strict with himself. He needs to balance out working hard and fun a bit with his team, kind of breaking the ice....
rochka and mr three are very talented. very admirable. what they did. all captains are very talented. but i can't deny that my favorite is henry lau very good team 👏👏👏👏👏

I really feel like its a big case of the "whole is greater than sum of its parts" for team Henry. Their connection is crazy good, it's to be feared.
I want to take this moment to appreciate and praise captain yibo for his professionalism. He knew where his team lack off and publicly spoke about it, he wasn’t upset but saw the positive side of the voting system which was basically ruled by professional dancers so they were fair, he wasn’t biased at all even said the other team obviously win against bouboo and nelson from his team. he even bravely said he choose ibuki and ac in the battle when the mc asked to pick a side because of his own rational reasonings.
Not only that, yibo noticed the first sound of the Locker team music and immediately went nostalgic means he understood what he’s doing fairly well. Not many people knows this fact, not even dancers. He has an in-depth knowledge of dancing. Also he guessed who choreograph which part in the the Choreographer team correctly, means yibo understood and notice every dancers by their piece of work. Everyone must’ve their own characteristics in dancing, and yibo memorized them. Yibo is so smart, and so so young too. Really, he’s so cool.

@@garong4902 you’re right, in split second he was really confused of whats the standard of the dancers who voted. in fact, i was too because his team wasn’t that bad but the votes were very very low. so confusion is without a doubt. but he got his cool back indeed!

Henry's team really takes after him. Cheerful captain = Cheerful team.
Yibo's team are all good at solos. They are battle-type dancers. Their weakness is routine so I'm not surprise when they lose.
I really like the two vs two battle of Lay and Han Geng's team (Huang Xiao-Kenken and Ma Xiaotong-Zyko perfs), as well as Henry's team (Han Yu-Chika's perf). Mind blowing!
As for the battle of remaining dancers, the team who wins deserve it! And I laugh so hard on B-boys team perf. Definitely Chick's choreography 😂😂😂.
Originally, It's the best decision to have OG battle dancers since there are going to be countless solo battles in the future. ( luckily Yibo's battle dancers are good at routines too and are creative as well). I guess he prioritized getting them first, before the teams' competition begin and since he had limition in choosing. He obviously lacked choreographers (to also balance the idea of each member) and routine dancers, but it's just the beginning. Hopefully he is so keen on learning, strategic, and comprehensive. Surely he is going to balance his overall team. Looking forward to next episode.

Right?! I felt that Lay and Han Geng's teams were really balanced and it was hard to chose between them just based on skill, it came down to personal preference at the end. Henry's team I'm really proud of since Henry is still finding his groove as a captain and I think with just the first 4 members he settled into the atmosphere of the show. His team mirrors each other personalities well.
With Yibo's team we all know he loves hip hop and will always bulk his team with hip hop dancers. But even from last season, having too many of one type won't always work, so hopefully he'll choose a choreographer who can mesh well with the visions and standards he always holds for his team.
@@VIDAH_ IMO it feels like Yibo gave up his bishop in order to secure the King. Meaning he chose the strong solo battles contestants first since bc in the end it still boils down to 1v1. So he knew what he was giving up early on (possibly losing today's episode) to make it up and dominate in the later ones. My only quip is that since he won last season so he had experience, was a street dancer from the start and also a member in an idol group, he should have the most basic (a given) foresight that he should have chosen a choreographer first is very important. They had opposing opinions because a choreographer wasn't there to mesh all their ideas together. IMO, if this was all part of his long term plan then cool. He lost the battle but probably going to win the war in the end. It just a very basic misstep for him to not have chosen someone who choreograph right away, but he does have the strong solos
@@magicswallow Exactly my thought. Whether it was a coincidence or his long-term plan, Seeing on this site, it was a clever move. I guess he saw this coming. letting go of the beginning battle, before the team's formation just to get the best choices for the individual battles. And as you said, choosing a choreographer was the first step and the basic knowledge, I personally even got surprised that he didn't choose one in the previous ep. On the preview of the next ep, 7-8 members of his team are revealed and you can see all of them are champions and super strong, his team is already empowered (who are good at routines too) 2-3 good choreographers can balance them the best. I'm looking forward to it.
I really I was really shocked by the choreography of Henry's group... I loved them were magical and they really looked amazing.
Winning and losing is a part of our journey that we must take, what matters is that we accept the truth and make it as a tool to further improve in the future, I'm still so proud for Yibo, he did his best, stating and recognizing his disadvantages then use it as a lesson along the way, Henry's team deserved that victory too, their performance really is amazing. I think for captain Yibo💚, the fairness of the game matters more than winning the game. He can accept failures calmly and accurately point out the shortcomings of his team. Failure does not make him depressed, but will become the motivation to win the next game through better collaboration and harder work. I think there’s a kind of strength in his body that always keep fighting and never give up.
In addition, his comments on dancers’ works made me feel his professionalism and in-depth understanding of street dance and all the dancers. Yeah, I want Yibo's team to win again as well, but in the end it really is up to the individual dancer to win the final battle. Buoboo and Yang Kai were amazing to watch last season in freestyle battle. Because both lost in their routines before the finals, but was able to faught back hard and won the freestyle battles 7 to smoke in order to get their spot back for the finals.
Doing a classical/folk routine dance was hard for them because they are use to freestyle battles. Got to give Buoboo and Yang Kai some praise for their determination and will to win!

His best isn't enough. It's not about him winning, it's more on team work cooperation and innovation. Henry came in as a surprise and he brought a few fresh air to the show. He's versatile and relax. He got all the left over from the dark room but the leftovers turned the stage around and win eventually. so in this show, best isn't enough.
@@river5613In this round, Yibo made the mistake of not choosing a choreographer for his team and he paid for it. But what makes his strength and therefore the strength of his team is his ability to see his weaknesses, and to find the best solution to remedy them, so this defeat may help him to build a stronger team.
As for Henry, his performance was impressive and he deserves to be congratulated.
This is only the sixth episode of the competition and there are still several stages before the final. So I believe that Yibo has a lot of surprises in store for us and that he will guide his team in the best way possible.

Because of his injury, Lay looks in so much of pain but still he was professional enough to smile through the pain all throughout the shooting. If I hadn't known about his health issues,I wouldn't have even noticed how weak he looks 😭
I also though he looked really weird here, he really seemed exhausted not even daring to speak most of this chapter. D: Gladly he seems better in the next episode. :D

Even though Yibo's team lost in this episode, I really enjoyed watching all their performances. What matters most is that they enjoyed performing have given their best.

Mr Three captured my attention in ep 1 as he looks so handsome in all white outfit. Then on next episode where dancers performed solo, I noticed how powerful he is in popping. He does need choreographers for the routine battle but it also important to have battle dancers for freestyle battle especially near the end which will be a cypher freestyle battle. I guess choreographers need to learn and adjust to freestyle battles as well as freestyle dancers need to adjust to choreography in order for any of dancers to make it the finals.

Ye Yin is the only one so far whose team won in routine this season. Among the other 6 dancers I really hope there is at least one choreographer.

Ye Yin and Yang Kai both are previous champions, so they are actually are good in both battling and choreography with their past experience. Liang Liang actually can do choreography too besides battle. I think it really is a matter of who is the main choreographer for each dance routine. There can be multiple people who can choreograph certain parts of the music, but one main choreographer who can bring it all together concisely and smoothly. Musicality, Facial expression, highlight/unique part, and completeness of the dance routine are important elements.
* Also it is never good to underestimate the opponent because like they say, "Pride before the Fall." Humility is important in team work/corporation, which means listening to each others advice and ideas is important. Also being self aware and choosing battles wisely, knowing when the right time to fight for what you want, and the right time to step back to try something new and different. Best thing to do is find a common ground between different people. I think Chun Lin, Yang Kai and Ye Yin were great in bringing people together by teaching/introducing them something new.
Yibo has very serious personality and slowly warms up to people,
so it sometimes it takes time for him to adjust with his new team. Once his team formed I think it will be more okay. He can be very strict at times because he is strict with himself. He needs to balance out working hard and fun a bit with his team, kind of breaking the ice....
