will be hard to top why me why not for me, this album has too much filler and the experimental songs aren't my thing. Also think the production isn't particularly good, Diamond in the Dark is a very good song that's made to sound average due to its stripped back nature on the album, vocals sound like they've been recorded quite cheaply too in one or two songs. Not a bad album by any means but not really to my taste.
It seems everybody claims a different song on the album to be the "best", so I guess the whole album just fire? 😂🔥

Perfect example of Liam getting dark and experimental while still keeping with his Beatles influences. Reminds me of a cross between I Am The Walrus, Girl and A Day In The Life with a tiny bit of Revolution 9 thrown in too.

Can't stop hearing this, it has a strange vibe, like saying I want to look like this but then it changes into something totally different, the chorus is pure gold, that flute in the solo trying to sound classical and the cello creating the dark ambient soundscape, a masterpiece at production level
The cello sounds brilliant he incorporates lots of people and instruments into his music it shows progression and work for other artists

This song is very interesting in my opinion. It's in Liam's style, but at the same time it is also different than his other songs. I hear some Sgt Pepper's influence in here, especially in the instrumental part in the middle. Also the key changes are quite unexpected.

I heard this on Saturday and thought it has elements of later day Paul Weller albums but on repeat its very similar to stuff on Vampire Weekends last album and of course a bit of darker Beatles, mite be my favourite so far.
