I really REALLY dig this Early 2000's Bittersweet Pop Music sound. I'm so glad that this song kept its upbeat energy when it very easily could have veered into a Surprise Darker Tone. There's something about this kinda upbeat anger that just gives the song such a good identity and sound. "Sure, alright, got it, poor you!" is *such* a great part. Lyrical rhythm is such a hallmark of a good KIRA song. And the PV is so super good. I really love how the different Miku renders are re-used and staggered in ways that still feel pretty fresh, to the point where you don't think how few different images of her there are. And the digital aesthetic -- from the dial-up distortion to the video artifacting -- just really bring the whole thing together.

I really REALLY dig this Early 2000's Bittersweet Pop Music sound. I'm so glad that this song kept its upbeat energy when it very easily could have veered into a Surprise Darker Tone. There's something about this kinda upbeat anger that just gives the song such a good identity and sound. "Sure, alright, got it, poor you!" is *such* a great part. Lyrical rhythm is such a hallmark of a good KIRA song.
And the PV is so super good. I really love how the different Miku renders are re-used and staggered in ways that still feel pretty fresh, to the point where you don't think how few different images of her there are. And the digital aesthetic -- from the dial-up distortion to the video artifacting -- just really bring the whole thing together.
