July's guest speaker was Danyson Tavares, Associate AIA and Executive Director of YouthBuild Boston, who spoke about the YouthBuild mission and their Designery program. Guest speakers included staff and students in this summer's program. Hear the inspiring story of YouthBuild's approach to youth education across all aspects of the AEC industry (and beyond), teaching as much life and problem-solving skills as much as industry-specific skills through mentorship and project work.
