I am in my early 50s and have been a fan of Becker & Fagan since I bought the first Steely Dan LP in '73. I am a big fan and was fortunate to see the touring band live a couple of years ago. I have been a fan of Parson's since he 'engineered" PF's "Darkside of the Moon. I bought Parson' s "I Robot" LP in '77. I know why SDan an Parsons haven't toured because they are band names only and they both employ top studio muscians to round out the sound on many songs. It is good to be educated & I am.
I bought this video after seeing the Alan Parsons Project on tour in Reno, NV in 2010. I had Alan autograph the case and DVD. I have always wanted to see him since I've heard "Time". I was blown away by the sound, the professionalism of the band ..... EVERYTHING! If you ever get the chance to see this wonderful band in concert .. GO!! You will not be disappointed. I now live in Kansas City and I can hardly wait to see him again on tour!
I liked PJ Olsson, and saw them twice last year. I think that ...Time ...is a harder song to sing than you think, and hard to get it perfect each time. All in All both concerts were magic.

I just saw Alan Parson's at Yoshi's in Oakland, CA last night. What a complete pleasure. A band that plays in Madrid, Frankfurt and all over the globe comes to such a small venue and gave it their all! Bravo gentlemen! Bravo!

Aun recuerdo el revuelo que monto la aparición del primer álbum de Alan Parsons " Tales of Mistery and Imagination " alla por 1975. Pues ha ido a mas, siempre a mas. Yo los vi hacia el 1996 y el sonido del concierto era IMPRESIONANTE. Solo comparable a la quadrafonia de los conciertos de Pink Floyd.
Yo tengo 43 años y sigo a Alan Parsons Project esde niño,junto con Supertramp y la ELO fueron los grupos que pusieron música a mi infancia.Este concierto está muy bien,me habría gustado estar yo también ahí,pero en fin,me alegro que disfrutatàseis.Saludos!

What great chance to see almost entire I ROBOT album played live. When I first heard it back in '77 I could only dream of how these bands would sound live. most of all, Alan Parsons was, to me, a kind of magician in a studio more than an average live band. Lucily he felt like going on the road some time after that !. Thanks for sharing this great live document of one of my favourite albums of all time.
Yo estuve viendo en directo a Alan Parsons Project en La Riviera de Madrid en los noventa, y recuerdo como uno de los mejores conciertos a los que yo haya asistido. Tengo todos sus discos y me encanta disfrutar de esa música. Para los que no lo sepan, Alan Parsons fué ingeniero de sonido de Pink Floyd antes de formar su banda con Eric Wolfson. Con ellos también cantó el gran John Miles, "Music", en el primer disco del grupo. Una delicia su música.
My favorite APP song was " TIME" until my ex-girlfriend dumped me and ripped my heart out. Now I cant listen to that song anymore because I know that the words are so true. That really sucks!!!!!!!!
Great and bether live so now most listen to the old lp from A.P.P. because i mean is bether sound when i use pure stereo.Sorround are something people not get great sound from if them not have what i have but now not use to play music.

Yo estuve en el concierto del cierre del Festival Internacional de las Artes en la Sabana, San Jose Costa Rica, ha sido el mejor concierto que he escuchado en mis casi 50 años de vida, los arreglos, los instrumentos, las interpretaciones...ha sido lo mejor, yo queria que siguieran tocando todas las canciones que los han hecho el mejor grupo de Rock Progresivo de todos los tiempos, simplemente excelentes...

Tales of Mystery and Imagination was Brilliant.I've been a fan since that album came out.
"Time" just keeps breaking my heart every time. There's so much beauty and so much pain in it.

I think the drummer here is a very good singer. When he can no longer drum, he could easily continue as a lead singer.

Agree 100% They were known more for the albums than live back in the day. A "faceless" band really by design..none of us knew what they looked like.
