August wrap-up | Good and Bad Books of the Month

I am here, a few weeks late with my August wrap-up. There were some good and bad books this month, but I like to keep it balanced, so it's all good.
I have to be honest, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed some of my reads given the mixed reception they had elsewhere, but I try not to be led by the opinion of others - so it's weird I am here to tell you about them...right?
