What a run! I may prefer older buses but these ZF tronic E200s can be a right blast, especially when you get use of the manual buttons. Great video as always, keep it up!
@@dramadani2 ohhhh I see, must be fun driving a bus lol. Me personally when I become a bus driver for abit I can see myself never getting bored with all the features they have
I'll tell you why I hate them: 1: They don't like "creeping" in traffic. The air-operated clutch is either on or off and it either wants to jerk forward or roll back. 2: They always want to pull away in second gear. Even in "manual" mode, they change up to second if you're in first after a short while. 3: I just hate the uncontrollable "pauses" of the gear change because it's difficult to anticipate. Personally, I think these buses are too small for this gearbox to be smooth. It would be smoother in larger vehicles.
Wish some of the YX65-registered E200 is equipped with allison gearbox, just like SE237. But damn, even with manual gearbox (or sometimes xFE gearbox) can produce redlining revs!
Abellio's ZF-Tronic sound like there taking off like a plane, you could literally hear them a mile away, lol 😆. But ngl there very quick of the mark though had a test ride on one today on the M23.
Hey, do you know the top speed for these lot without an extra limiter. Also this would be called Semi-Automatic shifting as manual would mean the driver also has to ingage a clutch pedal to shift at the same time but the computer does that automatically so its semi automatic because the driver still has to press a button to shift up and another one to shift down

Thanks man!
Yeah I'm sure a lot of people prefer other types!
I love the gearbox, idk why ppl hate it, performs like a sports car
@@dramadani2 yeah, the gear waits just add that sporty effect man and the jerky roughness at times. Why you talk like that though, you a driver?

This one used to be good when it first came to MB but now it’s horrendous… nice run!
W run bro!
Yessir 😎

Thanks bro! Which one did you have, an Abellio or Go-Ahead one

Would be sick man, literal 533 equivalent just with a different gearbox and plenty potential!
Redlines are exciting!

Yeah they’ve got the older exhaust, you can hear all the air/gas coming out of them!
Lmao i didnt know buses could have Manuel transmissions. Nice video
Manuel? Who's Manuel?! 😂Jk, but yeah it's not fully manual!
Haha! Oh ok.
I remember these on the 490. Ridiculous rpm these can get up to even on Auto mode 🤣
How do u make the logo white (like the one on ur 102 journey)
Just replace the colour in an editor

62mph
No, because the changes occur automatically UNLESS you've put it in manual mode, or override the automatic changes.
Nice 🔥
How does this have a ZF and a Voith?
Accident 😂
Great video, i love and hate the gearbox set up it's weird😂
I certainly don’t love it but I can manage it, much rather an Alison any day of the week 😂
@@Frozzles yeah definitely
Why do these ones not have the turbo thrash unlike the ones on abellio and GAL ?
Stagecoach not gal
These use the newer exhaust system
@@Frozzles ok
Ahh yes, the manuals
What do you mean by manual switching?
Check the description
You should ride 8821 at night! Thats manual! If you get the correct driver god damn that bus sounds flying
Not the biggest fan of them buses I can’t lie😅
@@Frozzles if you get the right driver if you ride it god damn the sounds

Manual is the only way to drive these buses. B5LHs should be manual too!
I wishhhh bro!
Dead batteries is close enough 😂
In fact, the B5LHs have semi-automatic and manual gearbox.
@@NewLERoyUser which batches or all?
