- The Winter Contingency III Operation runs from December 19 through January 30. Its Operation Pass will feature 20 tiers of free customization rewards, including new armor (like the Santa-inspired Winterknight helmet), new coatings, along with nameplates and emblems.

Looks dope. I really think 343 should do these Christmas events earlier in the month, like the start of December, so the cosmetics are relevant a little longer (Christmas is just a week after it drops)
The Christmas season technically goes until like February 2nd in Christianity which is the creator of the Christmas holiday. So I mean where your Christmas stuff through January! Why not lol
It's a winter operation with some christmas themed items. Winter lasts until february. So i don't think this is too late at all

They did that purposefully to try to get you to just buy the levels so you can have Christmas gear during the Christmas season. Scummy.
I dont know about anybody else but Halo is extremely enjoyable around the holidays and seeing this makes me even more hyped to load in. Nice winter pass

@cristianroy21 I agree. But fortnite holiday this year is actually kinda lame compared to previous years. Even their special ship it express mode sucks this year because they have tons of people finding ways to get guns and ruin the end game for players playing it the way it was intended. All the other stuff they added is great. But it isn't anything holiday related. They removed the yule log cabin, and just doesn't have the holiday feel like it used to.

Mythic and legendary modes are coming out with two additional maps. Probably coming out tomorrow because it’s all been coded in the files 👍

@@MikeJ1993 The campaign is the second worst, the multiplayer is awefully sweaty and the cosmetic make it look like a clown shooter. The gameplay is good, forge is somewhat nice, but thats about it. Too little too late and overpriced macrotransaction lol.

I highly doubt you guys will look at this let alone see this but. Keep up the good work on the PvE content. Please for the love of God. Continue with expanding out firefight and other PVE modes. That's the only way I'm going to keep playing this game because I put this game down two months after it came out and I've only just recently come back because I can play PvE with my friends and level my pass at the same time. Plus firefights always just been an amazing thing ever since it came out. Please continue with it and expand it out. Especially if you guys make it into some sort of system where you can buy defensive upgrades, weapons, and other stuff by beating rounds. I think it would be really awesome to have a survival mode where literally it's just progressively harder enemies and more enemies per wave and by killing enemies or beating waves you get points to buy equipment through drop pods and pelican drop offs
The PVE is the whole reason I've picked the game up again

The only people who do PVE instead of PVP are geeks with no social skills or friends who suck at the game and get spanked every time they try to play matchmaking 😂 So you go play “firefight” and shoot at literal COMPUTER BOTS cuz your not good enough to play against actual humans 😂😂🫵😂😂

i don't think there needs to be a "certain weapons only" type mode yet, maybe when they get more first, like way more.

My Spartan is all decked out in last year's Christmas gear - looking forward to this! I like anything red and white - never liked the peppermint scheme, but I see a lot do :)

Let's hope that the Pass has actual content and not 90% crap emblems/nameplates/EXP boost and 10% armor.
4 slots are xp boosts, 1 emblem, 1 nameplate then the christmas themed armor and coatings.

You know what would've been awesome? If they made the snowy part of Quarantine Zone from Halo 2's campaign an actual map. That would've been sick to see especially during the Christmas time. Idk its just a thought I had (would be cool tho 343 ;3)
