Man, Sad Song was the first vocaloid song I downloaded on my ipod. Back then, when I heard it for the first time, everyone was fangasming over Miku's Melt and World is Mine, and this song had like +100 views. I remeber how I thought "screw Miku and her high pitched voice, now this is the shit'

Meiko is THE BEST! various feelings is her best song to me. SHE SOUNDS SO REAL!
It's not a contest, you guys. People are allowed to prefer the other Vocaloids.
But I do think Meiko is probably the most underrated... to tell the truth, I've never listened to her songs much, but her voice is actually really pretty. I'm surprised because I'm not used to hearing her a lot.
And despite being the first Vocaloid, she still sounds really good/smooth to me.

I think it's the tone. Miku's is actually a bit higher though, and Luka's has a more womanly sound while Gumi and Miku sound a little younger.

This is an original song by a guy who goes by the name Nocchi :) He has an account on a music website called Piapro. He's pretty talented :)
Meiko is the only vocaloid that dosent have a stupid high pitched voice that dosent anger me.

This is an original song that was made for Meiko by a guy named Nocchi :) So there isn't any other original singer.
Nocchi said that even though the beat seems optimistic the lyrics itself is sad. You can look at the translated lyrics in the link I posted on the video description.
@KetoHimashi Well yes, and no. Sakine Meiko is the "younger" version of Meiko. She has an annoyingly high pitched voice that really doesn't work for her, but fans seem to like her better because she's "cuter". Personally, I think she shouldn't exist. Same with Kaiko. *shivver* ugh.

Actually, the voices of Meiko and Kaito are not completely computer generated. Meiko's voice is sampled from the singer Meiko Haigo, and Kaito's is from Naoto Fuuga.
@Gordygoo12 Not really a 'new voice', but a higher pitched voice. She's the 'younger Meiko'.

Lol, it's all computer generated. VOCALOID is speech synthesizer software (sampled from real voices) that allows you to type in melody and lyrics to make the song.
But yeah, the drummer would be hurting if there was one, lmao.

@jojay1996 So, If the guy was absolutely right and there was no other possible arguement with it, and he didint know some grammar rules, he's somehow in the wrong? Thats basically saying that a person who has a good point is still somehow in the wrong just because he couldnt talk.

Actually, I agree with freckles737. Grammar is an acceptable thing to bring up. People will be more willing to listen to you if you spoke (or typed) with better grammar. And I don't know how old you are, but if you didn't know about that rule until last year, I despair for our education system.
Back to the matter of this song, the only problem with Meiko is that no one puts the effort in to making well made songs for her. That is the major problem.

the reason kaito and meiko sound worse than rin/len and miku is because meiko/kaito are completely computer generated while the others are voice sampled :/ i love kaito....
