  • You should always have a backup set of strings! If you ever replace your factory string and cable set then you should watch this video. It shows you how to have a perfect backup set!

I bring a backup bow, which I needed when my son got excited in a blind as an antelope came in and bumped my cable with his broadhead. It was worth it as he put a perfect shot on the goat.

Nice tip Dud. I need a backup bow. I’ll settle for backup strings for now

You can order the strings by mail or make them yourself if there is a special thread and a board with two nails according to the size of the string. As a last resort, I did it with a 0.4mm braided fishing line, it turns out to be a good string, but you need to pull the thread under the load for a week before making the string, since it still stretches a little.

Have back up and extra strings. Never thought of them untwisting. Always learning.

Ditto…backup bow. No press in the woods.

Quit the bow, and get a rifle.
