It's me Christian, I'm replying on a different account. I live in point Vernon too and love fishing around the rocks for big trevs. ( although you snag a LOT of lures. Burrum heads is also great.
Highlight of our trip to NSW today was being stuck in traffic with you haha. Saw your boat. Had to try get closer to see if it was you or someone with your boat wrap lol. Hope you did well out where ever you were.

I've been trying for past year to get my hands on a packet of Holt prawns
I’ve got 4x spare packets if ya interested $100 bucks a packet multiple colours
If you don't know mate you have to see his Facebook page he tells you what time mostly on a Friday around 5ish to 8ish I think from memory and you have to be quick 😂

Usually last friday of the month around 6pm, but yes! Need to be quick, I forgot about it and the most popular ones were already sold out the next day.

John this information is a very big help to have. Can you please tell me the name model number of the 8ft 2" fishing rod that you are using for flathead.

Gday John. The 8’2 rod I use for throwing those bigger lures like my soft glides is a Shimano BB hard Rocker 832MH

I have the same vanford and zodias combo would you ever push it to catch jacks on 10lb?
The lowest I’d go for Jacks would be 16 myself. I generally run 20lb for almost all my Jack set ups mate. That combo is my new favourite though eh

BOAT TRAFFIC WILL SPOOK FISH BIG TIME . I would hit surf beach gutters high vis gulp shads green yellow or red 5 ins 3/8 jigs. LINE DOG TOOTH 12. POUND GET 40 PLUS METER CASTS IN COVER HEAPS OF GROUND FAST.
