Awesome video dude. One of my favorite basslines from Gene Simmons is Black Diamond.
My first love at 8 yrs old was KISS. Learned to play the drums to peter. 40 years later im on to the bass. Love your playing. Just as excited as i was at 8! Thanks for keeping me learning.

Gene had some very cool grooves in the early years of kiss. It's a shame that he was a lazy musician 😂
I think Gene is just like Lars Ulrich: they got to a point in their careers where they felt too comfortable in their status that they just became lazier as the years went by...
That being said, they were top notch musicians in their prime and Lars is trying to get in shape again, so that is respectable in his own right.

That does sound like a Squier P-Bass not bad at all. I had bought my daughter a Squire but after a few months with it she didn't like it anymore she referred to it as "that piece of wood" so I got her an Epiphone SG style bass and she fell in love with that, oh well. I gave the Squire to an old band mate and he gave me a really nice pair of headphones 😁 I like your list but in my list I would have included Nothing To Lose I've always enjoyed that bass line.

whaattt?No "unholy" :-) Gene is a cruelly underrated bass player. His persona, unfortunately, too often overshadows his musicianship.
