  • Not just SEOs, but even the general public has been overtly curious about Google’s SGE, Now AI Overviews. People were simply wondering what the addition of AI to search at Google would look like. So, we started working on this video back when AI Overviews was known as SGE, or Search Generative Experience, and uncovered all the important buzz about it.

    Although AI Overviews have only been launched in the United States as of now, Google’s New AI Experience has been garnering attention all over the world. Moreover, there have been several repercussions of AI Overviews, and the industries impact by SGE, now AI Overviews still remains to be accurately calculated. However, one of the first things SEOs and marketers have notices is the rise of Zero-click results.
    Many SEO Thought Leaders like Rand Fishkin, Mordy Oberstein, Areej Abuali among many others have delved into their own research and have shared their findings, which we happily share in this video.
    One of the first things that everyone is noticing with Google’s New AI Experience is the difference with SGE Effected Queries. And while it may seem like the only addition has been made to position zero, in essence a site ranking in SGE is not necessarily the one that ranks at the first position organically.
    Some of the most impacted verticals have been Healthcare, e-commerce, B2B, Insurance, and Education.
    And the main question on every SEO’s mind is to understand what makes AI Overviews rank a webpage. While this video may not be a definitive answer, we certainly aim to provide you with enough context to have an apt understanding of the point of whether is SGE a replacement for SEOs? Or will it work to help SEOs?
