Really grateful for this second channel so I can get my black Bear forge fix. In subscribed to other smiths, but your the one I relate to the most. Thanks for the content, motivation, and education.
I have been watching your older videos John, since I have finally gotten an anvil and a nice square rounding hammer. You sir, have always been informative and interesting but your videography skills have travelled light years! I am not saying there was anything wrong with what you did at the time. You have worked hard and honed skills that support what you are accomplishing communicating here with exceptional polish and true cinematography. Kudos John.
John this turned out very well. Great idea for finishing off that very unique handle. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Forge On. Keep Making. God Bless.
Hey John saw some of the comments from the other video on Twisting Angle Iron, and some saying to make it into an ‘Ornamental Grip or a handle’, love that you’re interacting with comments and taking ideas into consider, keep up the good work.
Keep up the great content! I really enjoy watching your videos and I think that not enough people really appreciate the work you put into these videos.
Great little projects like that you should maybe auction them off, I think all those little projects would bring in a little more income, I however can't enter any auction as I live in Scotland. P&Pwould be to expensive... I will have to get an old oxy bottle... Have a great summer. blacksmith.
Hey there. I found you through the "shorts" videos. Love what you do. I've always been fascinated with this type of work and metal forming. I'm a dairy farm milker. And my hands and shoulders are destroyed from all the squeezing and so forth. I'm 33. Wanted to ask how your hands are holding up. Or if you have any tricks or tips. Thanks. Steve from Pennsylvania
I had not heard. I haven't had a whole lot of time for RUclips as of late. That is very unfortunate. Hopefully you can get your numbers back without it taking to long.

Hello John
Well done
This shovel Last a hundert years not this thin paperlike shovels you get everywhere
Thank you for the Video
Yours Frank
This caught my interest. I'll have to watch again when the grandsons aren't running around...
Beautiful work and beautiful job of teaching Sir
Thanks
It's my pleasure
Perfect addition to that beautiful handle!
I love the sound of the metal when it is hot as opposed to when it is cold. Clack not cling hot metal doesn’t ring.

Awesome. Always wanted to see a shovel formed free hand without a shovel swage
Always wanted to learn blacksmithing, finally going to take a class!

Thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The handle shape could be an asset to various tools. Maybe a few more visits to see where this might lead? Please?
I do like the shorter videos 👍🏼
As always, you show us enough to inspire us to give it a try. I also liked the way you make us aware of the related videos. Thank you.

Glad you like them!
Great video, thank you.
I think I will have to look for an old gas bottle John , it looks like it works better then my tree stump. :)
Nice John, liking the handle more now I see it on a tool!
Thanks 👍
For a minute there, I thought I was in a twilight zone episode with all the past and future video stuff 😁

The biggest thing is not using to heavy of a hammer and keeping a relaxed grip.
