Mine has arrived now and I'm struggling to take out my existing door light! Please have you any tips as to how you did yours? I've tried using your method and all that happens is the unit flexes but will not drop out and I'm thinking anymore pressure will snap the unit. Would be very grateful for any thoughts, kind regards Francis
I see. Make sure stick the screw driver as far as you can. It’s has to be on the side that doesn’t have the wire. So if you do the drivers side you got to stick it in on the side pointing away from the car.
@clabeast45AMG Many thanks for replying. That's great advice, I rewatched your video and noticed you pushed the screwdriver in more and did try again on my passenger side and after more persuasion it came out but only the glass section came out with the inside looking nothing like my replacement. Inside was a white plastic dome with the bulb at the top so I reassembled it as it was, I'm wondering now if we have the same models, mine is a 2021 45S could I ask what yours is?
