Damm this is a great episode. At about the 5minute mark I like the comparison of speed with the fast cars and that VL. 150+mph is incredible. Really well done. Thanks lads.
@@Kristianmac426 thanks for sharing. I'm on the East coast. Gold coast. Great footage from the southern end. Loving all the old iron still rolling thunder
If Holden's are so good, why do they need a chev or Nissan engine to go fast???? At least the barra is all Ford. Great video. Hope I don't upset anyone bahahaha
Are those full sized Broncos called Broncos down there too? Whatever’s under the bonnet is kicking out serious horsepower because that two-toned one is moving fast AF
I like both Ford and Holden and I'm in a rotary owner so hate all you like (I love your hate 😘) but I was impressed by how many Cortinas there were! I liked the red Mustang (not my favourite shape though) but man that thing looked mental. Really liked that sky blue VN commy doing some wheel stands 👍 And I hate to say this but the blue grey VL bumping up the gears in the skid decently sounded like the best car in this clip. What was in that Navarra? 🤣
@@fullboost yeah I couldn't tell? Edit : the ridge that goes from front fender into the door doesn't line up with the door handle so yes definitely rodeo after some research (1985 by the look of it?) So obviously the evil twin had a brain fart idea to not show the ET of most of the cars that did a pass. It was like watching a porno with all the happy endings cut… WTF?
Ford Australia was pretty much left alone to do its thing - why suspension and engines are better. Holden was crippled by GM. If Australians had been given free reign to run Holden, who knows how much better their cars could have been?
Would have for sure been more boosted 6’s from holdens side for sure, they did the l67 and then basically had to follow everything from the states with the alloytec and onward
@@jeffaustin8112 You’re definitely right up to the AU. The original Commodores were nimbler as were Toranas compared with Falcons of the 70s and 80s. But when Ford Australia was given the green light to design the AU, they threw out the 1960s American sourced suspension design and started again. The V8 supercar standard-the car of the future specified the Falcon front suspension which was a vast improvement over the struts Commodores were running until the VE. Falcons had multi link rear ends while Commodores still had to make do with semi trailing arms. Not having a go at Commodores, I’ve owned plenty and loved them. Just having a go at the GM kiss of death.

Gotta love the kind spirit of Aussie drag racing .. even at a Ford V Holden event.. they let in a few Toyota Lexans.. heartwarming
They aren't Toyota's they are rebadged Holdens so thats why.
Amazing footage from Luke and Geordie @fullboost . Thankyou for all you do and continue to do.
I'm dialling 13BOOST now to get that Ford taxi to take me to the airport. 😁

I’m a ford man but if it’s Aussie you can’t go wrong 💪. Never get sick of seeing that bronco though
They Bronco looks the part and was impressive performance. Very unsuspecting. Something you'd see in the USA

Shout out to the track boys lots of wheel stands means they were on point with the track prep 👌
Exactly!! Those dude did an awesome job
Rodeo lifting the front wheels up looks Killa
This is ASMR for Rev-heads. I love it.

Im a Holden fan since I was a kid but I own Ford's for a reason 😅
Chev is a GM engine and Holden is also GM. Holden stopped being holden decades ago.
Holden is as Australian as Osama bin Laden.
Man's mad after watching the vid come on mate 😂😂😂
If fords were so good why were old school muscle car owners putting Chev’s in their hot rods…
Use common sense before posting
@@Slipperystick73 Personal choice plenty Barras in non-Fords too never-ending argument bang for your buck Ford everyday
All I have to say is out of all the ford and Holden engines the Barra takes the cake

Love the way it launches
From memory it had a 427 windsor stroker on nitrous ? 👍
It's ProCharged now 👍
Lots of love for the Bronco. Nice looking colour scheme too
Great action and great coverage. 👍
Did I spot the Carnage Taxi 👀👀
This is the kind of wholesome drag racing to spectate, Aussie muscle at it! Some very quick cars there.👌
This is good quality full boost action
No surprise in seeing an elevated level of saltiness amongst the hoodie/tracky dak wearing comment posters 😂

Don't think you guys have shown enough footage of that red BF....
Why not 👍
Funny how the quickest and fastest car there was a ford with a chev in it😂😅
Ford all day
That's the first fast OJ Bronco I've ever seen

Did you ever stop to think that maybe they didn't do full passes on those runs?
If you want to go fast get a Barra
if you want to go fast and sound good get an LS
Ford all day every day
LS's dont sound good

Holden suspension and handling in the commodores was leagues better than in the falcon? Pretty much every round a track test proved this
Holden dominated the market between 99-03 when the Ls1 arrived in Australia cunts where froffing

Holden body vs Ford body😁
