    I think we need a real European moon mission! It would help to get the European people together, to see we in Europe can achieve something great when we work together. Partnerships are a good thing and can still be done as well. But we need our own missions. We can do that, I know we can. Especially in times like these it would be a great sign.

    It's sad that the role of ESA is limited to partnerships. Where is our drive? We have some of the very best engineers in the world, and yet we aren't using them to their potential. Make dreams real, and motivate the next generation!

      ESA doesn't have the same level of funding as NASA. Then again personally I believe there shouldn't be national space agencies like NASA, ESA and Roscosmos but rather a single UN Space Corps to further the colonisation and exploration of space. Nation-States are an antiquated relic that needs to be dumped and replaced with a single world govt. Nationalism does not work.

      @@mlc4495 Unfortunately that process won't happen on its own. Why should someone that far ahead treat others as their equal?

    Eu já imaginei muitas vezes ...vermos a resplandecente Terra da Lua!! Deve ser transcendental....ver o inverso é algo incrível!! Como será na realidade?? Se nos espanta mos ao ver a Lua o inverso ainda ser mais Hiper!?!

    Isto é mesmo empolgante! Contagiante diria ...até parece.que a Lua está logo ali ao virar da esquina e que a vamos conhecer ao pormenor ou ir numa viagem para o outro lado, que até por vezes nos esquecemos de lembrar que existe um trabalho exaustivo e minucioso para alcançar!!! A Lua faz-nos levitar e põe a nossa imaginação a funcionar de uma forma entusiasmante!! Lua prepara-te que a humanidade está prestes a colonizar-te!?!!

      Maybe not to colonise and live but certainly to explore and research the moon like scientists do on Antarctica.

      @@Luckyamor yes they do some work for NASA . But SpaceX is a private company, That have their own plans.

      @@Carl-Sargent because ESA is *European* Space Agency.
      There is rather racing between USA, EU, and China, for benefits from space. Moon is relative small.
