    It says that the oil can leak during storage and to avoid this, empty the reservoir. I would think if you’re only doing a small job is probably best not to fill the oil reservoir to the top.

    You may want to put the "safety cap" onto the unused extension to prevent dirt from getting into the uncapped end and damaging the works.

    Great video FYI you have the head on upside down you want to make your cuts with the blade pulling your saw into the feet the little spikes on the front. Works both ways but it’s safer if the saw is pulling against itself . Not complaining just giving you the heads up. On pole saws look at any picture the blade points down not up. Good to know it works both ways.

      Thank you Merry Boozer RC. Appreciate it. Yes, I realized it AFTER I did the shoot. Since the idea of the video was the unboxing and showing the power it had, I decided not to do a re-shoot (not to mention, I have a full time job and not a lot of free time). Hopefully I do not make as many mistakes when I start editing my new Drone footage. I will start with an unboxing of my new Drone on January 3rd, then go downhill from there. LOL. Have a great day.

    How much did the attachment cost

    • @ResslerMania
      @ResslerMania  4 года назад

      Thank you Brady Bermant so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. The costs depends on "Ryobi Days sales". I normally wait for the sales then get it much cheaper than the normal price. NORMALLY the attachment runs between $109 and $125 in the USA, depending on your location. Have a GREAT Day.

    Oh you are referring to the blade length with the " 10 inch " title to the video. I through it was a type-o. The pole length being 10 feet on a Ryobi. I was all set to troll you.

      HaHa. Thank you Epic Papa so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. Yes, I suppose Ryobi's advertising and the printing on the side of the box (10" pole saw) can be a bit misinterpreted. LOL, Have a GREAT Day.

    how many cuts can you get with the 40 volt system or the 18volt system

    • @ResslerMania
      @ResslerMania  4 года назад +2

      Thank you donald eckert so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. Sorry it took so long to answer but I was trying to figure out the best way to give an accurate response. Unfortunately, there is no real answer to how many "cuts". Battery operated systems are much different than gas powered. The motor is constantly running on gas powered equipment but in battery powered equipment (for the most part) you only use pawer when you are cutting. I have only had to trim a few trees at a time. Mostly smaller low hanging ones. With that said, I always had enough juice to get my small jobs done. Sorry I cannot be more specific. Have a GREAT Day. PS - I am not with Ryobi nor am I a Ryobi dealer. I simply have had a lot of good experiences with the products, so I pass the information onto my viewers.

      Thank you Itzik beja so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. I do not remember exactly how much I paid because it was purchased and videoed almost two years ago. I just now got time to edit my older footage. Home Depot website currently has it for sale at $99, but you must pick it up at the store for this price. Hope this answers your question. Have a GREAT Day.

      By the way, the upcoming unboxings are from items I purchased over the past two years. I am just now getting caught up with editing my older footage. I makes it look like I went on a spending spree but I did not. HaHa

    I love Ryobi, but I'm going to have to stop buying their products going forward. Moving on to Dewalt and Craftsman in light of everything going on in the world.

    • @ResslerMania
      @ResslerMania  4 года назад +1

      Thank you Gilitar so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. Since I am not affiliated with Ryobi in any way (Yet, who knows in the future. LOL), I can say that I understand your apprehension. However, there has been no tracings that have linked the current situation to items made or partially made in China or American made products with parts or raw materials from China. There has been some conspiracy theories that have been scientifically debunked, but no real evidence as of today. Since I have a Home Depot store very close to me, and they have given me very good service in the past, I will stay with them. With that said, there is nothing wrong with buying Dewalt and Craftsman tools. I used to own a Dewalt drill that lasted a few years and I also used to buy Craftsman tools until my local Sears store shut down. Now not as convenient for me to return any broken Craftsman tools. Have a GREAT Day.

    • @WeSRT4
      @WeSRT4 4 года назад

      ResslerMania Lowes carries tons of craftsman tools. Ryobi is Chinese through and through where Dewalt and Craftsman are somewhat American.

    Most people don't want to see the ensemble part of this saw...they just want to see the cutting part of it and your expert review on it.. why spend 3/4 of the video on essemble and a little time at the end on the cutting????? Just get to the review part and keep it simple and precise....

      Thank you Argentum Boyle so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. To answer your concern, I take pride in making sure my viewers understand what they are about to view. I NEVER intentionally deceive. With that said, I truly would appreciate you letting me know what made you believe this was anything more than a standard unboxing video. I put "unboxing" in my thumbnail picture. I even put "UNBOXING" in all caps in my title. This is not sarcasm, I really want to improve and learn from what I may have inadvertently made you think this was a "first use" or "How to use" type video. Thank you for any help you can give. Have a GREAT Day.

    • @SheilaSpencer1
      @SheilaSpencer1 3 года назад +2

      @Argentum Boyle, it's an "Unboxing" video; that's what is expected. Watching someone unbox the item can have great value to someone who is shopping and is wondering what all comes in the package, or for someone who has unboxed their tool and have questions about pieces in the box or if they want to actually watch someone assemble the tool.
      If all you wanted to see was someone using the tool you should have looked for a reviewing video or something similar. This was quite helpful for me.
      @ResslerMania, thank you for the informative video! It was very helpful for me; easy to follow along. I was wondering how to get that orange thing out 😂
