Just got mine today. Didn't know it came out 4 years ago, but I'm absolutely loving it. The plates are really glossy on mine. Waiting on the Hammond collection to give us a stegosaurus already
The Woodland variant is my favorite out of all of them. As beautiful as these figures are, my only issue is that the neck is short and should be elongated.
Great review man. Really love my mountain version. I’m definitely going to pick another one (probably the woodland). The faces on yours look much better than mine. Don’t know what the hell happened on mine. Also the Rebor Dilophosaurus I believe had the first articulated necks.
I ordered the plains version since it makes more sense for that animal to have a pattern of colors fitting the open plains better than the woodlands and the weird scutes on the limbs seemed less noticeable than on the other two versions on promotional pics, like the contrast with the skin color scheme was softer... but while i'm waiting it's arrival i just watched this review (first time i see one featuring the plains stego, thanks for that Andy) and i thing that those scutes being grey looks like a terrible tick infestation. now i'm thinking maybe the mountain one was definitely cooler, despite not making much sense.
The figure arrived today and boy, it's majestic!!. it looks wonderful in person. whatever nitpicks one can have mean nothing when you take that beauty in hand. highly recommended!!.
What a great looking interpretation of a Stegosaurus, love the woodland-version! Really really nice. The only two things bothering me a little bit are the scales on the legs, they look kinda weird and I'd prefer the figure not having them as well as the backplates being too glossy for my personal taste, but both is nothing that would prevent me from getting this beautiful figure.
@@silash.5535 On this figure yes they do look weird, like mushrooms hehe, check the sideshow stegosaurus sculpture, those scales look better in that big sculpt.

Detail and paint look awesome but there's something about the head that looks off in my opinion. I've never been a fan of the tiny beak look, but there's something else that really doesn't look good to me...

It is based on sideshow stegosaurus, they copied those scales from there

The Rebor Stegosauruses are looking very beautiful but I kinda like the Plain version because it looks like it comes from the Jurassic Savanna.

It's definitely my favorite! It's EXACTLY the look that I love on stegosaurus, with my favorite color scheme, haha!

I ordered mine on bigbadtoystore.com so mine only took a few days. From everything dinosaur, id imagine close to 2 weeks.

Melon isn't scaled with this figures, it's too big, but you can always photoshop it to modify the scale
