I have this tent. Good Value for money but it's not easy to put up or down if I'm honest especially in wind. Secondly the Poles do split after some use but perhaps this is normal for all pole tents. Personally in this day and age I would be getting an Air Beam tent.
We are still using this tent after 5 years, fortunately they sent us 2 tents by mistake, this week we used the 2nd tent which looked brand new but we have used all the poles now because as you say poles keep snapping. I agree with all your points.
