Collins is like that guy who jumps on the grenade. We salute that.
I love this term for it: "no contest shame." I've always hated the "contest shame" culture because I want my guys to go for it, screw social media and the press.

Seeing Russillo’s fan side is so fun. We never get this enthusiasm and personal touch from him as much as I love his usual stuff
I was at the game last night and this dunk just about paralyzed the whole arena lol. All our jaws dropped. As soon as he jumped, I was like “no way he’s in range for a dunk” but it’s just ant doing ant things lol. I was with 3 friends who had never been to an NBA game before and now I think this game is gonna ruin future games for them. What a dunk, and what a game from Edwards!

Lol now imagine if he was scoring 10 more a game with a couple more rebound and assists. Jordan was an anomaly. The fact people actually wondered if Kobe was better is hilarious.

Difference is MJ was unprecedented, except for a David Thompson kind of. The advantage though is we get to see everything AE, Ja, Zion et al do in real time.

As a lifelong t-wolves fan this is so fun to listen to. This season has been unbelievable. I love that Ryen is a huge ant fan. Superstar potential for ANT.

Ant just has the highest ceiling because of his athleticism that only few players have ever had.
@@JakeDantonino, he also has a superior jumper and his game translates to physicality of playoffs. Look at shais number in the playin last year. He's the new harden.
None have won a playoff series. ANT does tend to go on shooting droughts compared to SGA usually getting 30 a game this season.
@@FuturisticSwag405 Ant elevated his game in both playoff appearances. He's put 28 ppg with 60.3 true shooting across his age 20-21 seasons. That is crazy production at that age

That short floating around from Edwards sophomore season where he has that interaction with Jimmy Butler and absolutely murders Gabe Vincent on a dunk is still my #1 Ant dunk. Especially with PJ Tucker and Jimmy on the bench watching the kid catch a body live

One of my favorite childhood memories was going to an arena as a kid and seeing Shaq break a backboard. I’d love to see Ant live on a night like this

I was at this game as a T-Wolves fan. The arena did NOT show a replay. Closed minded home court jazz decision I guess. I just loved seeing the opposing team’s home crowd erupt in awe of a dunk sent by the Greek gods. It was epic
One thing I miss about growing up in the last generation, was that 3 steps to the basket was still considered a travel regardless of how cool a highlight was
That was my feeling exactly. I messaged the group chat, I scrolled through Facebook, I said "Ooooo" out loud like damn .. Anthony Edwards has that energy that can revive basketball to it's hay day.
This is side note but the reason why I think Jordan is the GOAT over Bron isn't because of play, it was that he was the most iconic sports figure in all of sports around the world. LeBron is up there but he's never been the most iconic. He's an amazing basketball player but there's always been that missing feeling especially with NBA ratings dropping. To be the next face of the NBA means you have to be able to transcend basketball. Anthony Edwards, just the last few weeks, has had people talking a lot. From that game saving block to this dunk. You just keep hearing his name more and more. Just wait until the playoffs. That's where you become immortalized. If he can do the same things in the playoffs, even if he can't win a ring this season, everybody is going to be looking at next season and beyond. He's 22. Only 22.

It felt MJ like. It felt like Vince. Ant has had a few hammers in his career - like the dunk against Toronto from the left baseline. This was awesome. Thanks for putting together a segment that helps describe this moment.

So you can’t admit trading for a superstar all-world defensive player that has elevated your team from barely making the playoffs to the best team in the league is not worth it? And just trading four end-of-first-round picks? Like pick 27 every other year for the next few years? To become the best team? That’s not worth it? You can’t admit it? It’s hard to admit you were wrong. It takes character.
