DeWALT 60v Flexvolt Table Saw…Ours Broke

- We found a DeWALT (DCS7485) 60v Flexvolt in a trash can. Is this that famous RUclipsr that lives in Texas who threw his DeWALT tools away? Either way we want this tool and lets see why it was discarded.
WD-40 company and others, make a teflon based oil free lubricant that's designed for things like tablesaws, routers, etc... that helps mitigate dust buildup while still providing some lubricity to bearings and gears. It might be worth a look for this application.
That’s what is needed. Something that has a dry film of lubricant.
I think you’re just dropping the safety lever and it’s turning it off. It’s an actual defect from the manufacturer, but they’re supposed to be working on if you let the red button down slowly it shouldn’t vibrate and turn it off.
That would be great to have that slow let down lever but that’s not what’s happening. I’ve purposely lowered it very slowing thinking that’s what was causing and it still tripped.
I got the same problem with mij table saw. But the hole switch is melted. Do you maybe now the type number of the switch?
Some times it is easier to take things apart than put back together.
Most the time it is. At least we didn’t have any screws left when we were done.
im hoping Dewalt releases a new updated model this year. i was going to pick one up as a cordless saw option but the red version won me over with their updated features
That would be awesome but DeWALT drags their feet on something’s so I won’t hold my breath for a release.
