PLEASE SEE Update July 12/2013 - it seems i missed the "thread guide on the needle clamp" see video here • update - brother LS200...
I am not expert, this is my first sewing machine and I have only used it for maybe 1 hour.
I don't know if this is the right or wrong way to do this threading procedure but this is how I figured out how to do it.
This is video of how to thread the top and bottom of the machine. The most confusing part for me was understanding I had to bring up the lower thread when I first got the machine. In this video after I show you how to install the bobbin case I will show how to bring up the lower thread 2 or 3 times from different angles.
When turning the needle down to bring up the lower thread turn the knob on the side of the machine counter-clockwise. Don't use the pedal, use the knob because the pedal is too fast.
-it might take you a couple of times to understand how to bring up the lower thread as it might not work on the first try or you may get a tangle. Just remove the case and bobbin and free any tangles and try again.
0:50 - how to wind thread on the lower bobbin
3:09 how to thread the top thread
6:43 How to install and remove lower bobbin case , how to open latch
8:32 How to install lower bobbin and thread into bobbin case
13:44 How to bring up the lower thread , multiple angles
this is video of how to thread top and bottom on a ls-2000 brother sewing machine

You are the BEST. Thank you. I got this same model and I was nearly in tears with frustration over the damned bobbin holder-loop-spinning-knife-of-death assembly under the machine there. I swung the black pinball flippers out to take out the spinning thing - big mistake - and the knife wheel (?) and ring that held it in came out, and trying to get it back in was like performing brain surgery blindfolded.
I SEWED tonight. I SEWED things for the first time on my own and I'm so very happy about it.

Omg xD you're absolutely hilarious and I did the same thing as this my first sewing machine and I had no idea how to do anything; so I started looking for ways to thread the bobbin xD and before I knew it I was taking apart things that should've stayed

LOL I did the exact same thing trying to thread the lower part. Took my brother and I almost an hour to get those stupid pieces back in and then we were exhausted and gave up threading for the night..

I had this sewing machine for TEN YEARS and never used it because I couldn’t, for the life of me, figure out how to thread it!
My daughter asked me to get it working for her today. Thank the Heavens above for your video! I could not have done this without you. Thank you for going SLOWLY so I didn’t have to keep stopping and rewinding the video! 🥰

It has been many years since I did any sewing, but I just finished watching your video. Because I learn more easily by visual demonstration than audio, I suppose, your training was most effective. Thank you for giving me the courage to walk over to my sewing machine that I bought new 3 years ago and finally thread, load the bobbin and start some hemming projects. I know I can come back and watch it again if I lose my way. The absence of an annoying narrative and watching your graceful, efficient handwork is greatly appreciated.

Thank you so so much! This video is a lifesaver. I was gifted a machine years ago that is a limited edition model, so there were no tutorials online for it. Your machine happens to be identical under a different model number. I am HORRIBLE at pictorial instructions, and I need to be able to follow along with someone. I found all the parts to this machine and I can finally dust it off and use it after years of using a vintage hand me down with wobbly stitching. Thanks for taking the time to make this video! I really appreciate your efforts here. :)
