In ogni sua composizione, Amy Beach non fa mistero della sua femminilità, anzi ne è fieramente orgogliosa. Questa composizione ne è una testimonianza. Molto brava ed ispirata!
Every pianist will sound a little like their contemporaries of the day, I can hear Satie, Schuman, and Chopin, that was the influence at that time. This lady was a phenomenal composer and pianist in her own right, in a time when most women were still chained to the kitchen.
@@dinosoar728 I don`t remember making this comment, but every time there`s a piece of Romantic music that's not Chopin, someone comes on and says "this is like Chopin". And you have this piece of music which is so obviously a copy of Schumann's and Mendelssohn's music for young players and there it is, "do I sense some Chopin?". Irritating.

I like it. Never heard of this artist, glad I found her out.
So jolly and pleasurable. Gave me a fascinating hour. Thank you, Amy Beach, wherever you are in Heaven.
Absolutely charming. Thank you for this lovely interpretation! :)

very light and playful love it. reminds me of being a child actually
Perfect music to play for ballet class.
I'm happy to have found her.
So light it almost blows away. Starts with Bellini and ends with Offenbach. Great humor and melodic invention.
Never heard this before. Thank you.
You're welcome. :)
thank you for sharing your work with children a b

Simple but charming! Beach rivals Schumann in terms of creating the innocent effect in pieces!
What a delightful work.
Thanks for uploading!
Thank you.
Sorry pages 40 and 41 is where it occurs
Do I detect shades of Chopin in here?
No, but if you knew anything at all about Romantic piano music, you'd have detected plenty of "shades" of Schumann and Mendelssohn.
Derby25 Actually, yes.
Chopin's influence is all over this piece, yes, although I think it's sort of more the likes of Schumann it's influenced by. :)
@@derby2510 aggressive much 🤣

It is beautiful to hear, your description of the song is plagiarized though from diginole.lib.fsu.edu/islandora/object/fsu:183883/datastream/PDF/view
No shit, Sherlock! Did found that out by yourself? Lmao
He does quote the source in the description...
Schumann is lawyering up in his grave
No way! Amy Beach compositions are joyful, Schumann ones are typically German morbid ruminations
