I see you’re running a windows desk setup at home and a iOS(mobile) setup when walking the site, is there any reason you don’t just have a surface pro 9 to have both in one or is better how you have it now? Love the content btw
Good evening my friend, I have tried using the Surface Pro, the only hick up I have with it, is that it does not use the mobile application. As well as the camera quality does not provide the same quality of a phone, IPad, or tablet with the .5 zoom. I have considered that as an option and have even gone as far as buying one to try it out, but for how our mobile process is set up, it does not align with the desktop version of Xactimate. However, for large commercial files I will still use the Surface from time to time to have the desktop version to estimate on sight and then have one of my other guys photographing as we go. But that only works when you are working as a tandem team, swapping between the IPad and Surface can get annoying lol Hope this helps, Stay Mobile!
Thank you for your question, We should have them back early next year if not sooner!! We had actually bought our own laser cutting/engraver machine and as soon as we were about to start making the stiks we ran into a few set backs with the machine. With it being storm season right now we just haven't had the chance yet to go back and get the machine working again. We will be posting an inspectastik video update here soon!
