I'm not sure if anyone else notices this, but compared to previous SF games, you can see that they're actually hitting each other and not just empty hit boxes. This game looks so fucking sick, I can't wait to play it.
What a match! This game is not only super fun to play, but holy smokes is it beautiful to watch. Especially when it’s guys like these two legends fighting. That last match going to the wire like that with Daigo smashing that CA just in time… awesome stuff
@@remyd8767 what rank are you at? I play with Ken, and hardly anyone I play against jumps because of the parry mechanic for fireballs and I’m fairly consistent at landing dragon punches. I’m a low gold, but I mostly play casual matches. I also eat drive impacts all the time because I throw out down mk > fireball like a zombie and pay for it every single time haha. It’s a tough habit to break. Still trying to get into the mindset of using more cancelable normals so I can react to the drive impact. I have a lot of really fun matches though
@@ann0ynim0us If damage scaling was less aggressive, some high-level matches would probably be over in like 2 combos. As it is, you do a lot of extra work that requires a lot of extra skill and practice, and you get an edge over simpler combos. Damage isn't the only thing that matters, either. Corner carry, setting up easier, more consistent hit confirms, advanced mixups, chasing down opponents to get a combo you otherwise wouldn't... The utility is so important. Diminishing returns are necessary in this case.
I love how disrespectful Daigo is. He’s not afraid of going all out into burnout and applying pressure. Can’t wait for the Pro tour to see how he does.
I’ve been watching daigos ken since the beginning of sf6 and at first you can tell he didn’t know the combos and relied only on the basics. But now he’s learning the mechanics it’s over with
Hello, I’m new to sf6. I’m an NRS player. I first started with ryu, but found ken more fun to play. More of a rush down vibe I guess for a shoto? I’ve been playing a week now and I feel like ken is very hard to play because of the combos. I can do the normal bnbs with the run cancels, that’s it. Anything that I have to extend more it’s just a mess. I do not get how y’all do the endless cHP run cancels and burn all your bars. I feel like inputs in this game are SO incredibly strange and a combination of delayed and not delayed.. My question is - is ken actually HARD to play? Or is this something I’ll get over time? Ryu combos seem way simpler, should I switch back? I’m enjoying sf6, great game. I just donno wtf is going on with my combos and inputs 90% of the time and I donno if I should keep trying ken Thanks and great channel! Subbed and liked
Always remember this: Fighting games are a marathon and not a sprint. As for Ken's difficulty. I don't see him as a hard character at all. Take your time with him and who knows you might be featured in a Xuses video. Ryu not a bad either. Play some of your favorite music when you're in training to get that creativity pumping
The timing for combo and canceling are very wonky between different character in SF. Your usual rhythm might not match Ken atm. Spend a lot more time in the lab with him and you will surely improve.
definitely spent some time in the lab working on the timing. slowly getting better at it with my noob. looking at the frame data and cancel timings help a ton. glhf

So nobody in this comment section gonna talk about how godlike Dogura's Dee Jay was???😂😂 All I see is praise for the beast. My god the fan boys are out today for Daigo😂 Let's go Dogura🔥
True that DeeJay was wildly insane, unpredictable for others but always a threat, at any moment I thought he could take Daigos almost full bar, notice when Daigo almost got Perfected the very next round he went all out against Dogura.
Not a "Fanboy" of Daigo but playing pro in his age why he's the beast. Anyone can be godlike on a character with good practice but only a few can be consistent in age.
For those who didn’t know already, Ken’s kit in Street Fighter 6 is heavily inspired by “Ken”’s kit in Street Fighter 5. You can see just by the moves, let alone the outfit the inspiration taken for this character.
Es la primera vez que no veo a Daigo en ir a una esquina y encerrarse hay toda la partida tirando solo hadou ken.todaaaa la partida como siempre lo hace. I wish there was a replay mode where you can watch everything in first person perspective from either fighter. Then SF6 would be complete. That and a clothing edition for each culture and time era. Like DJ as a samurai in Samurai Champloo. Or Ken as the Dances with Wolf soldier.

That was a sick combo
but the damage is underwhelming for all that moveset that you gotta perform, Capcom need to do more tweaking on the numbers.

How do you get the fireball effects to change colors in your gameplay?
