Just bought this crossbow. Having a blast shooting this far. Cannot wait to get out in the woods with it.
Very professional just stopped in the store an bought one along with a compound bow. If your lookin for a good deal an help with some extra accessories he's a great salemans who will be straight up with you to get you the best bang for your buck thanks alot man see you when you get done restringing that bow for me.
Shot mine from 10-80 yards and had no issues love it
I have the KI 380 I love it killed my first deer in September with it. I'd love to have this new 405.
The New crank is a sled style verses hooks- KI actually sells 2 different cranks for this crossbow; a wide sled and a narrow sled. After contacting customer service, they told me to use the wide sled for the Boss 405

Good lookin crossbow. I got my Centerpoint with the crank last year. It shoots lites out. If this one is as good 👍 your set is if your thinking about it.
LOVE this crossbow. Bought it for my wife and we both enjoy it. Very accurate can't wait to take it out and show the pigs and deer how it shoots...lol
Great bow for the money. I upgraded the bolt to the piledrivers. It's super accurate and no issues so far. I can't wait to get my first deer from this crossbow!
Crank is super quiet...just don't drop the handle on concrete lol. Awsome vid, will have to come give that a look

Can you use a 16 inch bolt? I know we can use 20, just had some laying around, didnt want any semi dry fire it its too short.
I got mine I'm pretty good with it and I like it I think I'd make a 50 yard shot my first line on the scope is from 10 to 30 yards the second line is 40 to 45
Wanna see a review of the fatal X crossbow
I bought one of these last spring. The string freyed within 20 shots. Arrows that came with splintered and now it won’t latch when I pull back to cock it. I guess it will make a great door stop. Spend the extra $200 on a good one
I already did and it wasn't any better- in fact, it was worse!!

Can that crossbow be decocked with the crank?
I bought this for my son last Christmas. He was hunting with it this morning and the bottom left limb delaminated pretty bad.
I'd stay away as he hasn't shot it much at all.
Must use at least 400 grain
If you have to use hwavier bolts to save the limbs then why dont they ship them with heavier bolts? Thats just rediculous on their behalf

I bought the Boss 405 last year and waxed the string and rail and decided to shoot it for the 1st time yesterday. I pulled it back and it wouldn't cock where I can hear it click to know it's cocked and ready to fire. Believe me when I say this I have 6 other Crossbows so this is the 1st one I can't get to cock. I shortened the cocking rope. What's up with this Crossbow?
Did you make sure your safety switch was in the right position?
@@dougmartinezjr Thanks for replying Doug, almost ashamed to admit when I put it in the fire position and cocked it, it worked. I "THOUGHT" I tried it in both positions but I guess I was wrong. Thanks for your help, brother, Good hunting.

@@dougmartinezjr Believe it or not I bought this bow last year, but had no time to shoot it so it sat in the box. I paid $199.00 on Northwoods wholesale outlet in Northern Michigan. I THOUGHT I tried both safety and fire positions and for some reason I couldn't get the string to catch and make that "click" when you know it's cocked. My neighbor came over as I was trying to cock it and he said " make sure it's in the fire position" he pulled it back and I heard the click. I felt like a stooge, all 3 of them, because I have 7 other crossbows, and I know better but I just didn't do it. I shot it into my target and he said, "Man, is that thing fast"!

I'm tied of everyone bad mouthing this crossbow, when a majority of the time, it's caused by human error like using crap, too light of crossbow arrows. KI should also know better than to use 380 grain bolts, when in fact, this crossbow and any other ones that shoot 390 FPS plus, should be using a minimum of 500 grains.
Wait aren’t cross bow bolts all the same?
definitely not. they can range from 300 grain to 600 grain with broadhead, and it does matter.
I need a crank for the one I bought,can not find one except the one for $500.Shot it 10 times just after the purchase takes 2 of us to cock.

Of course man. Nothing is ever free. When he was like it costs 300 plus with crank for free I was like wtf. I bought it for 270
What broadhead is recommended with this crossbow? I need help finding a good head for mine

Cabela's has the same crossbow with 3 bolts and everything else without the crack for 299.00
I have this bow and it is junk the scope is made cheap
the stock is utter airsoft rubbish, I was shocked at how poor of quality it was.
Do not buy this bow the comp dose not back you oñthis junk got my new in store and reg and the scope that comes with it is junk and will not fix and the crank is not with it you have to buy it
I have no issues with mine and I love it. Especially for the price.
