Dankie vir die sterk boodskap teen boellies. Min kinders weet dalk hoe om dit te verwerk. Deur mense bewus te maak kan vele help! Alle sterkte aan dié famielie. Mag God julle seën en vrede gee

From my school years, many teachers would rather turn a blind eye to bullying. I saw it and lived it, dreading every single day you have to go to school and there is zero consequences for the bullies. So many children go though this and they never get protection.

i grew up in Welkom and went to a totally English-speaking primary school, those years in the 1960/70 many Afrikaans-speaking teachers taught at that school, why i don't know, the vice principal was Afrikaans, wow he was bad, he only believed in the cane, omg they were bad towards us English-speaking kids, treated us badly, one Afrikaans male teacher was the worst, then i went to a mostly Afrikaans high school, will say it was 98 % Afrikaans, there it was bad, the principal had a Hitler like personality towards us English kids, if anything happened over the weekend in Welkom and it was a scholar from Technical high he would on a Monday morning hall gathering say it is us English kids, hehehehe, ,then i went to the army,,about i will not say anything more, it was also same there, this has until today a knock-off effect on me towards my attitude about Afrikaans speaking men,

Ek is baie jammer om te hoor van julle verlies. My hart bloei. Ek verstaan hoe moeilik dit is vir n ouer en hoe moeilik dit vir ons kinders is om in te pas. Die lewe druk baie hard op ons jong wit kinders. Reik uit en help, praat as en vat raak. Liefde Groete

Was dieselfde ouderdom toe my ma 'n brief vir my onderwyseres geskryf het omdat sy agter gekom het hoe ek geboelie word by die skool. My juffrou se reaksie was om die brief hardop in die klas te lees om my verder te verneder. Partykeer is onderwysers deel van die probleem. Wat 'n pragtige kind. My hart is bitter seer vir die ouers!

i dont know how old u are and when it happened, but back in the 1970/80/90 so many Afrikaans-speaking teachers taught at English primary schools, i cant/wont say thy hated us English-speaking children,,,, but they treated us bad, as in really bad,it has until today an effect on me when thinking of Afrikaans speaking people, the one Afrikaans speaking teacher which gave Afrikaans wow he was bad, then the Vice principal omg words cannot describe his actions, then it was worse when going to high school, i attended a basically Afrikaans high school being a technical school, wow wow there it was bad, all the English speaking classes had Afrikaans teachers, the principal had a total Hitler like attitude towards us English speaking kids, Monday mornings were the worst,if anything bad happened over the weekend in WElkom and a scholar from Welkom Technical high was involved it was us English speaking kids, he would swear at us that the sea could not wash us off, then i went to the army july 1976, no more comment about that

Bullying comes in many forms and teachers, parents, friends, siblings need to take notice especially when someone has no friends!

but many teachers themselves are guilty of it, i went to an English speaking primary school way back in the early 1970s, and there were Afrikaans-speaking teachers, why i do not know, and omg how they treated us English kids, then I went to high school, which was about 98 % Afrikaans, the only two English speaking teachers were those who gave us English and Geography, rest was only Afrikaans, the principal im sure was family of Hitler, omh he hated us English speaking kids, and naturally if u didn't play rugby it was worst, very few English speaking kids played rugby, the i went to the army, no further comment about that year

I was horribly bullied by senior primary school kids as a kid, and it was a living hell. I wasn't able to tell my parents about this, as our relationship didn't lend itself to confiding in them. I was also molested, which is a different form of bullying by adults. I'm sure these deeds, as well as a lack of a wholesome relationship with my parents, led to my severe lack of self‐ confidence, and the inability to follow through with my dreams.

God the world is in chaos and nothing is “normal”. People are hurting. People are broken. But God!! We choose to linger on Your Word, and that You are listening, and that You will answer when the time is right. Please continue to give us the strength to endure the hard battle ahead. Let’s face it God life is scary. We want to keep our loved ones, children, friends, and even ourselves safe throughout the day, emotionally and physically. God, it is natural to protect the things we love most in our lives, and lucky for us that we have extra help to make sure that they stay safe. We know that You are always watching over us, even when we may not realize it. When we want that extra feeling of safety or crave a little satisfaction knowing that You are listening. Thank You, God, for sending Your angels down to Your true loyal children to rescue them from danger and protect the people at Senekal. Your angels lift them up and keep them from harm, Thank You for Your protection. Thank You for Your Cross. No words can describe what You did for our sins! Father, I thank you for the great authority and protection you have given us Your children in the person of Jesus Christ. Even as we go out into the world, your promise remains true to us and that nothing will, by any means, hurt us. Forgive us for the times when we have taken Your provision for granted and the times when we have failed to thank You and give You the honor and gratitude that You deserve. Thank You, that even though we have failed to acknowledge all that You give us day by day, You faithfully provide us richly all things to enjoy. But Lord, we come to You now, knowing that we are facing a drought in our land and we ask You to send abundant rain on the earth, which has become dry, thirsty, and arid. Look down in pity our plight we pray. It is not only the plants that are wilting, but even the animals and people are thirsty. Oh Lord, send us rain. Open the windows of heaven we pray with the sweet rainfall that we so desperately need, and water our land we pray. To You belongs the Kingdom and the Glory forever and ever. Amen.
