There’s no moment in this that would make someone go “oh man, I’ve GOT to see this.” Sure, it looks super grisly and violent, but that can only work for so long until it gets dull. Said it before and I’ll say it again, if it doesn’t have a good story and script holding it up, then it may as well be a house of cards built on quicksand.
The first trailer told the story and it was AWFUL… this trailer took all the action parts from that trailer and removed 90% of the story. So unless they removed the terrible story from the new edit, this is going to suck hard.

Venom, Venom Let Their Be Carnage, Morbius, and Madame Web have all been varying degrees of trash and at best forgettable. Sony just rips all these Spider-man villains (hardly any of them are villains in the movies anti heroes) and just pump them out for quick cash. None of these films have any real ties to Spider-man and just feel contrived.
With the Johnny Cash song in the background I guess I'm expecting a Sony action level Logan type. I'll wait for the Wesley Snipes Blade send off version. Maybe?🤔

I'll like the trailer. If when I go see the movie The tone ends up being as hardcore as the. I've seen so many movies that use Johnny Cash or someone else to make the movie seem intense, but then the score in the movie or the soundtrack in the movie and the aesthetic don't match that.
Kraven is supposed to be a big game hunter, a poacher, a villain and a psychopath. This trailer features none of that and it's incredibly frustrating as a fan of the character.

This trailer is telling its a family affair and that conflict between fathers and sons is going to be the driving force to the story. It really parallels to the whole Lex-Lionel dynamic from the early years of Smallville between Nikolai-Sergei with the father wanting his son to be ruthless. Also young Sergei is portrayed buy Levi Miller who portrayed Peter Pan in the Pan origin story.
