She shared that to his father even though he told her not to, and she knew she shouldn't, because they both know his father might cause a scene. He endured his suffering, but what do they do? They walked out of the reception, instead of being there for him. They took his silence as like it was an insult to them, instead of thinking that he was not making comments about it because for what?? Do they want him to spit on the guy that made a truthful comment? Do they want Li Yang to act like he had no maturity nor manners?? They could have stayed. Sat in their seats, showed him that they are there for him. Showed him that they can support his marriage. Showed him that they are his allies. His family. But what did they do? They walked out. They added to his suffering. They abandoned him. Even when they knew that he married into Zhenzhen's family so he could lift them out of poverty and into a comfortable life. That's why i said they could have at least held it in and wait until the event is over. It's not like the other guy's mean comment is an attack towards them. It was directed to Li Yang. If Li Yang chose to endure, then why couldn't they do so for him?
