For the fast tab closing, basically it closes the tab before running the code programmed to run when you leave, rather than leaving it open until it's done.
Thanks for the tip about the mute feature. I had noticed the speaker icon, but unlike in Firefox, clicking the icon wouldn't mute the tab. That may have been my only real gripe with Chrome..and now it's fixed :)
Hint for "hacking" the dino page: 1. play a round until you die *(don't restart the round)* 2. right-click the page body and click Inspect 3. there should be a tab "Console" in the inspection window 4. go there and type: _Runner.config.SPEED=999_ you can also type any other number for your dino's speed. theres also more variables in the config class you can adjust e.g. jump height
@ThioJoe How about an easy way to run Chrome / Firefox / as much as possible 100% in RAM ? I use the portable Chrome version with Primocache on my hard drive D and system OS drive C. I get over 60% cache hits on both drives, sometimes 90% for the OS drive. This greatly speeds up the computer and reduces hard drive and SSD wear, enable the deferred write too and set to 600 seconds or longer. I've used 1800 or 30 minutes. You need at least 16GB to do this. Also the Tab Suspender helps if you have many tabs open like I don and Freshstart session manager.

Here's another neat trick. You can use your keyboard to switch between tabs. Use CTRL + TAB to go to your next tab, or CTRL + SHIFT + TAB to go to your previous tabs. It's useful for someone that hates using mouse to switch tabs like me.

Right click on the tab and select duplicate. :-) Hope that helps! That right click does wonders! Also, Chrome and various Google products have somewhat useful and interesting shortcuts. You can find them easily by doing a quick search for Google Shortcuts or Chrome or Gmail keyboard shortcuts. You might find it a great timesaver depending on what you do online, and how you interact with your browser and various sites. You can still retrieve a tab/page not only after Chrome has been closed, but also after you've shut down your pc. Simply power up your pc and/or open Chrome again, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of Chrome, click on "History," click on "Recently Closed" and choose the website/page that you wish to return to.
I do enjoy smooth scrolling myself, however I have realized with a Logitech Bluetooth mouse and an Acer Chromebook 15, that whenever I scroll, it likes to go somewhat fast with downward scrolls; 1 step up, 2 steps down. Basically, the same length scrolling the wheel is not the same. Currently using this "Wheel Smooth Scroller" Chrome extension, which somewhat helps, but I still have issues with it. I'm unsure if it is because it's a Bluetooth mouse, and not a wired one.

This is a good video, but this is what I know about the "Fast tab/window close" feature (in kinda simple words): When a page is going to be unloaded (opposite of load; close), there can be events that will happen at that moment. What this feature does is that it first closes the tab, and then executes the JavaScript. If pages don't have an event to fire when the page unloads, this feature doesn't do anything.

It does work for Mac using CMD + Shift + T. Reopening closed tabs also works even after you've closed down Chrome and reopen it. It's extremely cool!

two things..... one.... number 11 is also possible by clicking history in the options tab...... then the exact tab you wanted to reopen
number 2...... my says command rate is 1T, 664.4 MHZ frequancy, 9.0 clock latency..... and its a DDR3, 6gb..... thinking i should update but no idea if it would be a good idea what do you think
