The Captain‘s knees cracking is apparently a little in-joke about Ben (the actor) and his creaky joints.
Also: that plague victim ghost offering Alison a glass of milk when he can’t provide it is the cutest thing ever

As always, loved the episode. As a fellow Ghost Hunter. I loved the humour when they took the mickey off past Ghost Hunting programs, but also slightly irritated that they demanded to see something when it's all about the fun and spooky experience. Nothing actually has to happen, the fact that the owner of an historical house that clearly has a past like the plague pit. Would have been enough. So sorry, I realised I'm rambling/ranting lol. As always love your reaction and can't wait for more 😊

Not sure if Mat Baynton has done audiobooks, but I HIGHLY recommend Ben Willbond's narration of Louie Stowell's middle-grade series "Loki: A Bad God's Guide". He is SO good at voices and the audiobooks are so entertaining!

There's two books that the team released after the show. One was recently released, it's a behind the scene. I've not seen that yet. But the one released last year is a collection of all the stories they didn't get to use (or extra for story lines they introduce in the show). It's an brilliant audibook read by the cast. But don't read it till after the fourth season. There are spoiler.

A good start to the second season . Having watched a few ghost hunting shows I'm always more interested in the history and they get access to places like cellars that the general public wouldn't . Allison could have done with the money but I take the ghosts point as well . As usual I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on this great series .

I don't think the lady with the ghost recording equipment was scamming anyone. I think she genuinely believed that if there were ghosts they would be picked up on the tapes. She was wrong, because for whatever reason it didn't work. But I don't think she was a charlatan.

Oh, I can help with the audiobook thing! Mat Baynton is the narrator of the latest release of The Truth by Terry Pratchett. Though I think he mostly uses his usual speaking voice.
I agree that the bones thing is weird. I don't actually know what archaeologists usually do with bones from plague pits, because they are real graves in which people were buried with great respect, they weren't just chucked in, so I would have thought it'd be standard to put them back in after any excavation, but maybe not.
    Awesome reaction, thank you!

They don't put them back, they store and study them and then they are buried respectively

Also plague pits the bodies were just chucked in and not buried individually

@@rachellovell7332 What I've heard is that they were usually wrapped, and placed facing East; that's not being chucked in.
Edit: Yep, I can't link because of the spam filter, but there are articles if you google '"black death" victims buried facing east', and they do refer to mass graves, not just individual burials.
I think respectful reburial in a different location is fine, though.
