He got that good by writing everybody else’s number one hits... country music and finally his wife made him sing his own songs. He’s already in the songwriters Hall of Fame!! I’m soooo glad I’m not the only ones who describes his music as gottttt dammmnnn
guitar run... stepping right through the cords from the 50's to present day, featuring the haunting rifts with echo's from Jimi H, drifting by the stone cold hank senior. Percy sledge rhythmic runs, eddies crisp hits in the cords, and the sway from the wreaking crew... man this guy has done his homework.. He can master the stank face with his vocals, but not only that he can back it with the written words, and the string rifts... I cant think of one single star today that bundles all of this... wow
Chris is labeled country but all i heard in most his songs is blues an soul with the country additude every song he sings tells a story and he a great story teller
A song that was different to me when I first heard it was Justin Timberlake say something featuring Chris Stapleton and that song is badass good shows what about them guys can do vocally and instrumentally
I honestly have to say that Chris Stapleton has a huge following among African Americans. He is a white soulful country singer songwriter that know s how to touch your soul.
My friend noted that he played a six string guitar here- much more difficult, I’m told.. You’ll notice when doing duo’s, he brings out a modest five string. You’re right- he is incredibly gifted. He Writes all music as well.. good selection!
Chris is a beast and has that old soul that resonates and transcends generations. Before Chris back in the day was Gary Stewart (drank a lot of alcohol listening to him).
Hi from your new subscriber in Charlotte, NC! I dig your reaction gurl! It's impossible to NOT get stank face when he's performing! Chris Stapleton is amazingly real! His bluesy, gritty, soulful voice + that "get down & get dirty with it" guitar playing = pure-t TALENT! (His bass guitar player, JT Cure, is badass, too!) Check out his newest album Starting Over! Every cut on it is great; but, start w/"Cold". You'll be glad you did! A few other "Must Listen To/Watch" numbers/videos are: the 2015 CMA awards show performance by Justin Timberlake & Chris Stapleton doing "Tennessee Whiskey"/"Drink You Away"! It's incredible! You also NEED to hear Chris' acoustic version of "Barely Alive"! I really love a video of Chris singing "Fool Me Again" on a 1-06-06 songwriters cruise! He & Al Anderson had just written the song the night before. What's crazy is this was back when CS still didn't think he had a "singing" voice! He was young but the talent was there! He KILLS it, too! Another fave of mine is "What Are You Listening To?"! Let's face it, you can't go wrong with Chris Stapleton! It's impossible! I hope you're still enjoying your trip down the Stapleton rabbit hole! It's a wonderfully addictive ride! Peace, love and stay safe!🌹💜
You should react to his cover of James Brown's "It's a Man's World". You will be blown away. It wasn't even rehearsed but instead was an impromptu performance. The entire band that asked him to come on stage ended up having a major "man-crush" on him. They were just amazed by his performance.
@@gabrielp9646 nah.. not equivalent.. his Guitar Playing may be simplistic but it's played with reason... there's power in simplicity.. if he'd done too much with it it would have taken away from the performance..
Love me some Chris, but if you want to be blown away from guitar playing you HAVE to check out Stevie Ray Vaughn. If you can check out his live performances because you get to see what he does with his guitar but audio is almost as good.
Randall Taylor ....also Voodoo Child and Little Wing....he's the only guitarist who could take a Hendrix tune and improve upon it... she should react to the Live at The Mocambo set, SVR killed it on every tune he performed....
ITZJT... I always appreciate your honest, heartfelt Reactions! Would love to see you react to Chris's 'Live' at the CMA Awards, November 2021, his Live Performance of His Song, 'COLD'?! Which In my opinion, Is His Best Performance Yet... Please?!
I’m still waiting on you to react to Carrie Underwood before he cheats!! Haha ❤️Tennessee speaking of soulful music!! Check out the Mississippi delta blues you know bb king from there just one of many!!
That is some nice guitar work, but if you want to see what is considered the all time best guitar solo check out Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb performed at the Pulse! Oh just a heads up slow down communicate with your audience not see how fast you can talk at them. I will pass on subscribing to your channel for this reason!

Thank you!! Seriously, when they call him country,I'm like' have you heard Allen Jackson' lol
My thoughts
You’re so beautiful, love this reaction 😍
His poor wife....never once has stayed mad more than however long it takes to sing this. I’m surprised they don’t have 10 kids
What the hell is wrong with you? Do you personally know him and his wife? IDIOT!
You didn't have to say a word. I know you like it because you had "stank face" on the whole song. LOL!!
I was wrong 🤣🤣😂
Hey he was wrong 😂😂😂
I don’t know who was singing better, Chris or the guitar? 🎤 🎸 🤔
Chris. His guitar playing is equivalent to a 16 year old beginner (not irony).

@@gabrielp9646 if you want a good example take a look at Yngwie Malmsteen tryin to play the blues... lol.
