Bones McCoy and Richard Kimble? Awesome! Two great performers, Janssen and Kelley.

Indeed - and in Stranger In The Mirror Kimble clashes with - Captain Kirk himself.

When you see the bit parts that Kelley and James Doohan were taking on "The Fugitive" you get some idea of how lucky they were to stumble into the "Star Trek" gig.

Doohan was smart not to take on Peyton Place as his recurring gig . . . .

There was an episode in "Bewitched", for a short time James Doohan played a slim worlock ...

@BLAIR M Schirmer Kelley was 9th on the bill on this episode of "The Fugitive, filmed the year before he started "Star Trek." He wasn't even the first or second choice for the McCoy part either. Just a small-timer who got lucky.
