Rabbi Jachter earned his bachelor's and master's degrees at Yeshiva University and his rabbinical ordination from Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary
Rabbi Jachtere serves as the Rabbi of Sha'arei Orah, the Sephardic Congregation of Teaneck.
Rabbi Jachter is an expert on the laws of Jewish divorce, and he chairs the Agunah Prevention and Resolution Committee of the Rabbinical Council of America
