This is great! I came here to get some ideas for sounds to do my guitar solo on a rock song I'm currently working on. You gave me a great idea with the T Scream & FD Combo. I'm tweaking them to taste & adding another patch, but you definitely gave me a nice sound to work with.
hi sir.. just bought this incredible guy this morning.. i think i got used to play with it even just a little.. but just one simple question, where do i get empty banks, sir? :/
Hi have you got settings for any Shadows or Hank Marvin for the zoom G3 please. I love the echo delay reverb sound Hank Marvin gets from the many instrumentals he plays. Thankyou
Kenneth Borrett Hi Kenneth, sorry I don’t have any settings or presets. If you use a Fender deluxe or Vox amp with delay and spring or larger hall reverb you should be able to get close to a similar sound.
Would you say this pedal has a very good sounding effects? Do you think it is enough for a good quality music recording? I am interested in progressive rock/metal track recording.
@@harveyandruss8748 Wow, the Zoom G3 & G3X came down in price! I paid $400 after taxes for my G3X in 2014! I just checked the prices & they are very reasonable now.
Did you put the Zoom in front of an amp? Is that what we're hearing? Or is this the pure sound you get from the Zoom? As in, without the influence of physical tubes?
I have absolutely no idea what he says and what he does within the first 2 seconds of the video, from 2 seconds onwards no problem... sounds like "Enter Preset" ...how?
Crazy that you do all this amazing work and then do not tell us how to save it. It's like telling us how to make the best cake and then not the oven temp.
@@ibanezsr505latin I did figure it out but it was complicated and I have forgotten how now. Give me a few days and I will get back to you. I wrote it all down somewhere. Fun pedal though for the price.
Simple! First (and this is IMPORTANT) look for a patch that you don't like. Then change them all to "select effect type." Then select all of your patches. To save, hit "save/swap." Then hit it again to confirm. It'll save it to that patch, so you'll lose the patch that was there, unless you do a factory reset.. You can even change the name of the patch by clicking "total" and fiddling with the knobs. Then do the "save/swap" twice again. Make sure it says "SAVE" (NOT swap) before you confirm. That is the default, so you should be good.
@@BillGraper Hey Bill, many thanks for this my friend. I swear it has had me beat. Unfortunately mine is all packed away cause we are moving soon but I will try this as soon as I can. I still love this little effects pedal. Cheers from Montreal.

Did you get your answer to this question?
You need to modify existing patches
The stereo chorus is killer.

Vinnie Zummo you can do it manually without using the software but is very confusing. Easy way just hook it up to you pc

Phonz Musik you’re answering directly on my RUclips so you can always ask me personally. This way it’s rather unpersonal. I’m saying Empty Preset

My only gripe is you cannot switch between wa and volume in the same patch 🌛
Great sounds, but truely horrible, horrible user interface
