But they can still explain how it works, just not atm because they need to go find the error. Apparently the devs had no idea and one fateful day I saw a dev with godmode running across an ocean arch rock formation, absolutely loaded full of landmines. He was creating a huge celebration of explosions, all while shooting rockets in the sky. I ran up to him and immediately asked him to follow me. He surprisingly did and I lead him to a massive rock base that had been a problem for the whole server. He called in a whole team. The man himself Helk and a group of devs asked me for information. By showing them exactly how they use entities to no clip without hacks into giant boulders for unraidable bases, I was able to forever change the game for the better. It was fixed in a day, just like this and before they left I got to watch them nuke every rock base on the server. Helk then thanked me and gave me his ak and mining hat (which was also new), I took a group picture and never saw another dev in my 5k+ hours again.
Yeah, how exactly do you stop it? A person can buy an infinite quantity of game codes/copies and its not illegal to do so. (As long as the person isn't ban evading or breaking other ToS.) Some people actually prefer to restart from a complete fresh point in games and so many games don't offer fresh start seasons to allow that (generally speaking, not really about competitive games.)@@shadowconquer-yv5yd

Not a dev but was an admin for a group of people who developed mods for their own server and the reactions every time someone finds a game breaking bug was hilarious. Gaurenteed the next few moments was filled with "how the fuck did he find this"
I played on a small server once and found a bug that let you recycle an invisible hazmat suit that never got done. Infinite hqm, sewing kits and tarp, which you could then sell at outpost for scrap. Me and my friend abused the heck out of the bug, ranking up tens of thousands of hqm and just dropping to random people. In the end we got banned because someone saw us give loot and that counted as teaming (I still feel bad for the random who got banned with us lol), but we only got banned for teaming. So I messaged the owner about the bug on the discord server for the rust server, he unbanned me and I showed him and his reaction was so good lol. I don't know if he ever got it fixed because it was luck-based and hard to manage since you can't see the item, you can just move it by dragging something else on top of it. But it was great.
I like how instead of informing the dev for the cars via a company group message or something, he gets him in the game to experience it for himself 😂😂😂

Oh i remember that, also if you find a legal loophole that devs cant whine about, its even better. Like back in the old days of WoW with blackwing lair, back then there was a cap on the amount of debuffs you could have before the oldest got pushed off. Second boss in BWL had a debuff that forced you to rotate tanks, we had enough buffs on the tank to push the debuff off and cleared the boss so much earlier then intended. Got a GM to tell us to please not spread the weakness to everyone until they got it fixed. But let us keep doing it. Priest mindvision + druid heals xD. Also doing molten core ragnaros daily was also fun, majordomo had a respawn timer even if killed, and even if entire raid was cleared. Kill him and ragnaros respawned again. Could do this every 12h. Our guild was like months ahead of everyone else on the server.
From what I’ve read the only dismount spot for the truck bed was in front so when you try to get off the truck bed (foundation) it puts you in the base which is the only dismount point in the truck
It was probably discovered by someone who had a garage attached to their base in this same kind of manner and all of a sudden the guy started teleporting to his car. So he tried it again and it happened again so he told a friend who told a friend who told a friend etc. Now it's here.
