How to Get Better at Guitar in 2020

At the beginning of the year, I always check with my students to see what they want to accomplish in the coming year. In their guitar lessons, we'll come up with a plan of attack to accomplish those goals. For some people, it's developing some type of guitar practice schedule or guitar practice routines, and for other people it's simply couple of guitar practice tips or guitar practice exercises. But it's the time when people ask how to practice guitar as opposed to what to practice ON guitar (how to practice scales on the guitar versus what scales to practice). In this video we go over two of my favorite guitar practice tips that will help you get good at guitar.

i would like to get better at soloing and learn some theory that can help me solo along any song by knowing the key. also, maybe learn alternative picking
