This is great advice, why practice something without a musical application!? Always try to practice within a musical context, try playing scales and arpeggios over an actual chord progression to truly learn how to make music out of them. Great video!
Thanks man! Yes I try to always have the end goal in mind. Why play an exercise designed to emulate what you might find in real music when you could just play real music?
