I really liked this. Shinichi has a sister complex but it's more akin to familial affection which was really shown even when Amane confessed and not the usual "incest is wincest" trope. He even tells Amane that he wants to have a sibling relationship with even after she confessed. Unfortunately Amane was doomed only because the mom had to say that they weren't related. That reignited the good old Yandere inside her.
It was good change of pace that they made up and got along again before it was revealed they aren't blood-related. I mostly dislike the trope where "stepsister does a 180 after the reveal". FMC being cold to MC to make him hate her and stop being close to her so people around them won't call him a pedophile is still a hurtful reason, but a bit better than the usual "I'm shy and embarassed" crap.
That's the beauty of yandere, she didn't want to commit crimes and harm her brother so she had to be mean to him and to hide her feelings (aside from protecting him from being bullied) Meanwhile a typical tsundere abuses you for no reason and all you get is "idiot, it's not like I like you or anything" like bruh
Really sweet that Shinichi and Amane made up and could be brother and sister again. Then their mother dropped that sudden huge bombshell and reignited everything. Here we go again. And a pretty nice Oshi No Ko reference at 8:33. It was also pretty funny when she forgot to draw her highlights too at 7:34.
