I still use, background apps and process list, but TD's app killer and cache cleaner are the 2 best apps to keep your device clean

My firetv cube storage went from 7 GB to 2 GB today without installing any additional apps today. I have Amazon updates blocked so didn't want to factory reset. It's the 2nd generation firetv cube. Any suggestions

I wish I could make the QR code go away. When doing a search on Cinema the QR code pushes the keyboard over to the left and you cannot see the various search results it shows.

I just updated my Firestick 4k Max and I'm not seeing the QR code next to the keyboard. Tried system search and also the search in a couple of apps.
Is this not out of beta yet?
For some reason the system update was staggered. I ran the update, it spent ages installing and rebooting, only to find another system update! Doing the update a second time gave a message “finishing updating” and it eventually finished without needing to reboot again. But still no QR code showing…
OK, I tried a few more apps (Downloader, Internet, Stremio) and I see the QR code now. Weird how the QR code doesnt show for the Firestick's builtin search. For remote support it's not clear how to make use of this, short of opening the Internet app which I think all Firesticks have.

App killer saying connection failed any ideas ??? 🤔
The latest Amazon update has broken the ADB functionality which is needed by my apps, as well as apps like mouse toggle.
I would complain to Amazon chat and tell them you paid for something that you can't download any more.
Tell them the app was working fine before your device was updated.
My apps have not changed for months, its the Amazon update that has broken them.
You can also demand a refund as you paid for something that is not available/working any more.
