@@xb10hazardx the 2.5mm bolt holding the tail pushrod bell crank has been snapping on a number of people. The tail on the raw nitro is a kraken 380 tail, and the 2.5mm bolt isn’t up to the task. Apparently several key component in the raw nitro are from the kraken 580 - this was likely done to save weight.
@@hixnada8278 Yup, it happened to one of my flying buddies after his first flight. He then replaced it with a longer bolt and nut and it happened again. I had a maiden on mine the following week and mine broke on the second flight. I upgraded the bearings and bolt to 3mm but just found the spindle shaft bent in the head after the emergency auto. So, I wait for parts. SAB is working on a solution.
Great video Bill!
Man that was a LONG flight! Nice video Bill :)
I hope they address the 2.5mm tail bolt issue with this heli.
This was a great flight! I'm hoping a fix for the 2.5mm bolt is on the way soon. My machine sits until parts are available.
What’s the issue?
