Graham Norton show is amazing. It reveals the funny side of actors you never imagined could be funny. I particularly enjoyed the one with Harrison Ford.
It's like I read somewhere that he puts all his guests on the sofa from the start, that way if anyone gets stuck or is quiet, the others will swoop in and fill the silence with a quip or comment. Brilliant!
Emma & Ryan (another nice Canadian boy) have chemistry off-screen, as well. His calm, under-stated, dry wit perfectly compliments her self-deprecating goofiness. And it's cute - the way she sort of leans toward him on the sofa. Ben & Sienna seem very prim & proper - like acquaintances, rather than friends. But Emma and Ryan seem like they are still that on-screen couple 'til the end of the publicity tour. Very enjoyable sofa, this episode.
I like when the sofa is full of people that aren't comedians, really - cause comedians can hold an audience -, but they know how to tell a story and be enjoyable. All of them at this episode are like that. Of course it helps to be in that particular show. Graham makes them them confirtable with themselves. That creates a good atmosphere.
Most of the time I don't like comedians on talk shows where there is a group of people like this.. They need attention all the time and constantly interrupt . A lot of times I don't even like a comedian on as an alone guest. They have to sway the conversation to work their new bit in instead of having a real conversation. Look at American late night host. They can't shut the @#$ up and let the guest finish a sentence .
I've watched this and other Emma stone/graham norton interviews a couple of times, I just love how funny and humble she is she never makes herself out to be something she isn't she refreshingly blunt in the nicest way, she a rarity and works brilliant with Ryan gosling. I just saw LA LA LAND and i don't usually enjoy musicals apart from Johnny depp as sweeny tod but LA LA land was brilliant i loved the whole thing ❤
Graham and Craig Ferguson are my late night heroes. Craig, for all the silly playful "womanizing" is wicked quick and so damn smart... that man would toss aside flirting for a philosophical dialogue in a breath... and Craig's couch just lets the guests be real people... love these two to pieces,
I think this is the first time I have seen Ben Affleck laughing lol. Edit - After 10 more minutes of watching he seems like a totally different person when he's laughing
I feel bad for Emma having gone through breaking both arms, you couldn't even wipe your own bum it must feel horrible not being able to do alot of things without help like making a coffee or eating properly must have been difficult too. She has my sympathy.
I just checked again why I did that (the 'et al' part) and the reason was because I hit the 100 character limit of RUclips video titles (I was between 4 and 8 characters over the limit depending on how I format it). But the name has always been there in the description under the video- even though that section isn't popular. I guess I can squish the title up by leaving out the spaces and punctuation but it will look off. The memory of my old writing teachers conjure up and haunt me whenever I even think about making a writing mistake... >_>'
I love Ryan's flinch when the camera starts moving at the beginning😂
It doesn`t matter who`s on Grahams` sofa ,it`s always brilliantly entertaining.

People like Emma and Ryan because they are beautiful and talented, but they love them because they are humble and kind.
I'd love to know how well non-Brits understood the Scot in the Red Chair at 42:58
Emma and Ryan are beautiful 😍 💖 and talented. I like them. They are genius.

@@TonyEnglandUK I felt like I did pretty well. I’m subbed to Hellfreezer. 😁
Yes Ryan's actually a blackbelt taekwondo but he never mentions it
Omg I never new Ben Affleck was funny and so down to earth 😂

Resting B word Face- it’s an expression meaning you look angry when you’re just staring into space.

Ryan Gosling is very quick on the draw… So low key charming! and witty!
I love how he always has that smile on his face, like he's just let your tyres down but he doesn't want you to know that just yet.
And silver Hammer pants to boot
Emma, she's so funny and likable. She seems so effortless.

@Lise Her meltdown story was brilliant. Labyrinth. 😆😆😆

The Graham Norton Show is a International Treasure
Gregory Porter deserves some sort of medal for recounting that - uh, immersive story. You could tell he was having an unwanted sense memory attack.
19:44
Emma and Ryan are just adorable 😂🙌
that old footage where young ryan was dancing with those purple shining clothes - such a Ken from Barbie movie moment 😂
Why have I never heard of Gregory Porter before?!? He's phenomenal!
When Ben said "don't tell them" how you got the part. I don't think people appreciate how funny that was😂

Came for Gregory Porter. Stayed for Ryan Gosling's dry sense of humour.
This Sienna girl is really a charm
No one anywhere can tell a story like Gregory Porter. 😂 Majestic. Best story ever told in that entire studio.
Emma is so effortlessly funny omg!!
I love Gosling & Emma
I adore Graham. Thanks for making this possible to see his shows. Truly he's my tonic...xo
Love Affleck… so casual and quick witted.❤
I love that film so perfect in casting, Emma and Ryan perfect 😊🎉

WTF???
2:38 Ryan Gosling predicting the new post-covid salute elbow to elbow?
I was like: wtf this was uploaded 2 years before the covid hit? elite knew about it, before it even happened?:D
the dog part is so funny lol
They forgot when Ben Affleck was in Jersey Girl & sang the Sweeney Todd jawn "God That's Good" !!! That's one of the best scenes in a flick...
Great episode!
Love the energy here
Peep Ryan cacking his pants when the camera flys over to the audience 😂🤣🤣
that elbow bump sent me back into flashbacks of the beginning of covud
my dad would have loved to hear this..
Emma and Ryan are the best!!!
Great show, all the guest are awesome 👍❤🙏✝️✌️😎
Anyone else think that Ben spends this whole show looking like he's about to be found out live on national television?
Oh my God Emma is so perfect and Benn adorable, cute Ryan Gosling is a 🎉😮 good entertaiment .Keep on the road.
damn, one of the best musical performances I've seen on the show along with one of the most awful stories. thanks, Mr Porter!
Great guests, both women are beautiful and funny

Lol Graham and Ben could make a joke together
Can't believe everyone is going on about Emma Stone when Sienna Miller is right there.

sienna has a lovely speaking voice, she is also funny without knowing it

Ryan has some moves no wonder Eva Mendez is holding on

I have Kildare ascent...born and bread...but people say have posh one..maybe parts of Kildare lol
Stinky story wins 😄
Why does Ben Affleck always look like he just woke up from the bathroom floor?
I think he really, really hates interviews. Even a fun venue like this can be like cliff diving for some people.

I hated LaLaLand. it was a silly story with a disappointing ending. Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone were brilliant in it though. the story just sucked.
Ben Afleck is just slightly self-absorbed.
