how do you get device management on your iPhone 4S? and how did you sideload the app onto the phone? because when i do it i get a guru error or whatever it’s called.
As for device management, you'd only really need to do that if you were running a company, and if you are, I beg of you, do not make your employees use an iPhone 4S
But the iPhone 4S is really fast on iOS 6 and if your on iOS 9 then it’s essentially a aluminum brick, plus there are a few tweaks from cydia to download apps.
Is it possible on windows? Also what type of downgrade is this? Its dual booting? Its thethered? Or actual deletion of ios9 and installation of ios6? I want to know, coz im desperate to downgrade mine, but like actually downgrade and not tether or dual boot it...
I can test if it's tethered and I can also test on windows if you give me a sec, don't currently have a pc running anything older than windows 10 though, I hope that's fine
Alright it seems to actually erase iOS 9 and install iOS 6, I rebooted and I'm still on iOS 6, the tool does not seem to be available for windows, but it is available for Linux and macOS, you can just create a live cd/dvd of Ubuntu or something and use it from there. Hope this helps!
@@Mariokart6 thx, for the explanation, i was told by a lot of ppl that without tethering or dual booting or shsh blobs i wont be able to do it, however im still curious how it works, bcs its installing unsigned ios, without any consequences thats too good to be true.
@@Johngloger I think it has to be signed tho, it appears Apple is still signing iOS 6 and 8 for the iPhone 4S, so you don't need shsh blobs or anything to do it, but you can't just put it your own custom IPSW file (You can also find the tool here at: github.com/LukeZGD/Legacy-iOS-Kit )
I cannot test it as I do not own one, but according to another commenter and the website, it should work. See here: github.com/LukeZGD/Legacy-iOS-Kit?tab=readme-ov-file#supported-devices
THANK YOU!!! After trying like 7 tutorials, this is the only one that worked. Works perfectly as of January 2025
So happy I could help!

I used Legacy iOS Kit (github.com/LukeZGD/Legacy-iOS-Kit) to jailbreak, downgrade, and sideload

Great video just missing some cuts and speed ups
Thanks! I'm not a great editor, but I'm hoping to get better

Why do you have to downgrade a iPhone 4s on AT&T
My iPhone was used and the previous owner was an AT&T user, carrier has nothing to do with the exploit as far as I know.
bro why the frick would you downgrade an iphone 4s
You have a point. An iPhone 5 would be way better, but I don't have one T_T

Did you have to boot that thing into kDFU mode?
I didn't actually have to do much of anything, I just ran the .sh file, told it I wanted to downgrade and it did most of the work for me.
