- One of my favorite cities in Vietnam is Hội An and it's located on the central coast. Their ancient town is known for the quaint streets decorated with lanterns, yellow homes / restaurants, tailoring shops where you can get custom suits and dresses made same day, and eat at the night market when the city truly comes to life. Another popular thing people do here is hop on sampan boats and release lanterns into the river. It's said to bring good fortune!

Hey do you recommend staying a night near ancient town and another at the an bang beach?
Depends what kind of trip you’re taking!! I’ve visited ancient town many times so I was okay with doing a short trip there and staying at four seasons! The property is beautiful and I’d definitely recommend it if you have time!
Are face masks mandatory at the moment.
Everyone wore masks when we went in April. Not sure the the restrictions are now.
