Perhaps I just missed it before. I've also never heard him speak so clearly and passionately about civil liberties. A true American patriot bar none
Samo absolutely spot on here. I think of him as a pracademic, which is what gives him his edge in these types of fiscussions. Live Players a great initiative guys. All I would say as an educator in top 10 global uni is that the degree of cheating going on in pure reserch these days is also holding us back. Personally I'm more caught by what's happening in biology.
It’s a good talk, but calling contemporary America the industrial peer of Germany is very optimistic. The most apt comparison is actually Italy in both relative importance domestically and international demand/reputation. (People often treat Italy like it’s "funny" answer in geopolitics, but I am being serious. Italy has a proud industrial history and is ahead or comparable Western nations like France.)
