Fight racism in the country, okay. But ... where do you see racism? Yes, the man is dead, people die every day, black, white ... all. Now you're going to say, " Hey, he's not just dead, he's been killed!" White people don't get killed, right? I'll give you a big secret, there are a lot of bad people in this world, there have always been a lot. It is not possible to completely clear the world of them. But do you know who at least somehow interferes with them? The police, Yes, the guys you're going to fight, too. You will say to me, " but they are so evil, I have seen them beat, kill and commit other crimes!" Yeah, but who told you that cops aren't human? Here's another secret for you, they are people, also people. And people, as we have already found out, can be bad. I don't know English very well, and the text may contain things that don't make sense to you. I hope the message was conveyed correctly.
@@surimos6379 I know this is an old comment but it is still dumb. Racism is seen in the simple fact that if a black and white person are accused of the same crime in the same situation, the black person is far more likely to suffer the consequences. If a white or black person is seen doing something that could vaguely be seen as suspicious, the white person might get question while the black person could easily be put under arrest on the basis of nothing but suspicion. The fact is that black people are far more likely to be accused and condemned for crimes whether they did them or not than white people. That's where the racism is. Yes, these police also keep the peace and stop/discourage crime, but they also do shitty stuff. Just because they do their job doesn't mean they are no longer responsible for their actions. The fact is that if a cop is willing to treat someone differently based on race, they are unsuited to a job that holds as much power as it does. Nobody here is saying cops aren't human. You're acting like we are asking for all cops to be killed. What we are asking for is a tighter police force, more strict training and harsher punishments for failure to perform fairly. Yes, people can be bad. You know what happens to bad people? They are punished and relieved of their position because leaving them there is a risk. They want their job? Then don't act like a thug.

As a black woman the fact this song still applies 30 years later is incredibly sad. I want to take a moment to appreciate how amazing this man’s voice is. This version is fucking incredible. Thank you for making this. It makes me so sad thinking that my children will have to face the same racism that me, my mother and father faced. This song just highlights our society today. Thank you for singing this so beautifully my brother. ✊🏽✊🏽🖤🖤🤍🤍
This is a rage song but this damn good song i like michael jakson song
Sorry but black ass

This is a good example of what a GOOD cover should sound like
Lyrics
Skin head, dead head
Everybody gone bad
Situation, aggravation
Everybody allegation
In the suite, on the news
Everybody dog food
Bang bang, shot dead
Everybody's gone mad
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about us
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about us
Beat me, hate me
You can never break me
Will me, thrill me
You can never kill me
Sue me, Sue me
Everybody do me
Kick me, kick me
Don't you black or white me
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about us
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about us
Tell me what has become of my life
I have a wife and two children who love me
I am the victim of police brutality, now
I'm tired of bein' the victim of hate
You're rapin' me of my pride oh, for God's sake
I look to heaven to fulfill its prophecy
Set me free
Skin head, dead head
Everybody gone bad
Trepidation, speculation
Everybody allegation
In the suite, on the news
Everybody dog food
Black man, black mail
Throw your brother in jail
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about us
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about us
Tell me what has become of my rights
Am I invisible because you ignore me?
Your proclamation promised me free liberty, now
I'm tired of bein' the victim of shame
They're throwing me in a class with a bad name
I can't believe this is the land from which I came
You know I do really hate to say it
The government don't want to see
But if Roosevelt was livin'
He wouldn't let this be, no, no
Skin head, dead head
Everybody gone bad
Situation, speculation
Everybody litigation
Beat me, bash me
You can never trash me
Hit me, kick me
You can never get me
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about us
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about us
Some things in life they just don't want to see
But if Martin Luther was livin'
He wouldn't let this be, no, no
Skin head, dead head
Everybody gone bad
Situation, segregation
Everybody allegation
In the suite, on the news
Everybody dog food
Kick me, kick me
Don't you wrong or right me
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about us
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about us
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about us
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about
All I want to say is that
They don't really care about us

@osvaldo crescencio ambos fazem parte do sistema

The originals message about black rights let alone human rights is impactful, this cover and instrumental emphasizes on the message even more. It's both badass and emotional
*Edit: As for clarification, I mean "Black rights let alone human rights" as in Black person rights as well as basic systematic justice as a whole. I'm not alienating black rights from human rights just in case that mix up is made!*
honestly just seems childish
@@What-sf5ey That didn't age well
@@ЗорницаЯнкова You don't think there's been innocent people killed before I made that comment? I made it because this song paints everything in a way worse than it actually is so it comes across like shitty news that fear monger. The recent death wasn't racially motivated anyway, no? (if that even matters). And if it was I'd like to see proof. Basically this song is painting the majority of police officers as horrible human beings which is ridiculous. Every single one of them because of a few bad apples. So I say again; this is childish

Then don't act like a thug.
even the mention about Roosevelt and MLK being disappointed about what goes on gives me chills.
